Leader? Dictator more like. And, when Putin falls, so will he. Because he is utterly dependent on support from the Kremlin.
All the more reason to give Ukraine enough aid to utterly defeat Putin, so Putin, Lukashenko and Kadyrov get toppled and brought to justice.

I suspect that a compromise will be forced on Ukraine and I think it will be soon . I don’t like it but tbh I think we are being prepared for it ..we being the West.

I hope Trump loses and Ukraine gets full assistance. But, that's only a hope right now.
If Ukraine don't, then there'll be a pause in the war, Russian rearmament and another push for Kyiv and tens of thousands more dead possibly hundreds of thousands more dead.

I just hope there's a peace and ceasefire, that's all really. Nothing more.

Peace can only come with an end to hostility both political and military. Occupation, is hostility. Occupation must end. Invaders must leave.

The NATO nuclear deterrent has already prevented Putin from doing so.
Give Ukraine sufficient aid to defeat him and stop living in fear of the bully.

As would destruction. Meanwhile Putin knows he cannot effectively stop aid without Trump's help.
And if Trump loses, Putin loses.

I can see Lukashenko saying this because that would be a favourable scenario for Belorussia. A draw would mean he can sit on the fence whereas a full victory for Moscow would pull Minsk even closer. I am sorry but we have to look at the reality. Look at the battlefield. Russian advance is increasing in speed. They have a winning hand on the battlefield they will be not be interested in negotiations to achieve half measures. Once Ukrainian front falls they will achieve their ultimate objective, taking the whole of the Ukraine.

Lukashenko is a dictator, fuck him. Btw on this date in 1941, NSDAP Germany was advancing on Moscow. It over extended, logistics collapsed. Winter without supplies killed thousands of troops.
Russian logistics are collapsing in this war. Putin's lust for conquest and murder is blinding him.

Once Ukrainian front falls they will achieve their ultimate objective, taking the whole of the Ukraine. "How sure are you that Russia wants the whole of the Ukraine"? These organisations are uncertain about their war aims. ...the Kremlin has not provided a clear and consistent public narrative regarding its objectives, maintaining significant ambiguity and even adopting contradictory stances. www.rand.org/pubs/research_reports/RRA2061-6.html#citation...leaving himself considerable wiggle room to declare victory depending on battlefield developments. Broadly speaking, his goals fall into three baskets: weakening or disrupting Ukraine’s ties with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), stymieing Ukrainian nationalism, and expanding territorial gains. www.cfr.org/expert-brief/what-does-putin-really-want-ukraine
