In answer to the thread title, I suppose it depends what the target population are up to.
Certainly the level of petty crime in this area has spared since the IBIS budget hotel at J26;of the M4 was taken out of public use by the Home Office and used as a hotel for the beneficiaries of the Welsh First Fuckwit's Nation Of Sanctuary bullshit.
Regrettably the river that runs not too far from it is well served by CCTV and the three miles of CCTV free riverbank with forty foot tides and fifteen mile an hour currents opposite JoG Towers is too distant to use as a suitable disposal chute for the bodies....

When I was a young man, I was asked why I wanted to get into the defence business in my interview for my first job outside academia. I replied that it was, to a great extent, personal. We were under military and paramilitary attack from several sides at the time, and several of my own extended family members were in the firing line. One narrowly avoided going down with the Atlantic Conveyor and had them been shot at by pirates off the coast of Africa, another was the target of an Iranian RPG attack on shipping, and I had myself been firebombed by terrorists armed by IRA paramilitaries. I had a country to defend and a means to provide ways to defend it. Most of those involved extending my expertise in very, very nasty weapons to provide ways to make those who wish us I'll very sorry indeed, and a lot of my work to that point had been investigating ways to prevent such weapons from killing our own troops. I don't know if that actually comes in other people's ideas of patriotism but there are more ways than one to defeat our enemies and I'm much better at making chemical and biological weapons, and the antidotes to them, than going out and physically shooting people. Today my enemies are running the shitshow in Cardiff and London. This is no longer my country and the cuckolder on its throne has no interest in defending me or anything I stand for. |
