You dont have to be prosecuted to have committed a crime you silly old duffer .

The act of entering illegally makes them criminals. The fact we have agreed in the convention that no prosecutions will take place on the basis of that illegal entry does not make it any less of a criminal act. As asylum seekers their obligation is to follow all instructions and obey all laws as the host country directs, if they do not then they are supposed to lose their right to claim but that does not seem to be enforced.

At the same time there are a lot of stories of people moving out of the UK in droves. People say that the UK has become a miserable and joyless country. No matter which shower of wankers is in power.

Which is true - there are record numbers of rich taxpayers fleeing. This did start under the Tories who thought they could spend 14 years with the highest levels of taxation and Public Spending since WW2 and then get away with it - the core Tory vote at the election thought different.

Anyone entering the UK without leave to do so is committing a criminal offence, that is not absolved by claiming asylum, all that is agreed in the convention is that it should not be prosecuted.

All very sad but do we need goat herders? If we and Europe are to remain safe it’d be worth spending the money to send them to a country that needs or doesn’t mind goat herders that or set up safe havens.

Colluding with criminal people trafficking gangs is a criminal offence.

They are all human beings and need to be treated with respect, even if they have paid criminal gangs to get here. These people are vulnerable and need our protection from the gendarmes who were about to beat them up on the beach near Le Touquet, where some rich Brits pop over for luncheon on their private planes. We all need to learn to show more compassion and give more of our taxes to help these innocent, vulnerable men. Oh, and a few women. I have worked in France, Belgium, and Italy Not been there on holiday WORKED there. At no time did I feel oppressed, in fear for what I believed, was, said, did ... None of these scum, who are invading us, should be given anything except a hand back to those they fear. That way they'll register in the safe countries they are already in That way, they can even come here legally, albeit only if they are the high earning doctors dentists etc the lefty barmies claim them to be while their daughters are being raped by them Of course, no other country allows as many in as we do. That's why they come here. Sink the boats the moment they have five feet of french water under them.
