I wonder how much that will be after they get kicked out?
David Lammy flew like a King in private jet to China while Charles humbly took commercial flight for royal tour
Foreign Secretary David Lammy travelled in style last week, using a Government VIP Airbus A321 for his official visit to China.
In contrast, King Charles had to make do with a commercial flight from Heathrow for his trip to Australia.
The monarch flew on a scheduled service to link up with Queen Camilla in Singapore before continuing to Australia.
Upon reaching Singapore, the royal couple switched to an official Royal Australian Air Force jet for their onward journey to Sydney.
An insider explained: "It was more appropriate for His Majesty, as Australia's Head of State, to arrive on board a Royal Australian Air Force plane."
This unusual role reversal has raised eyebrows, particularly as the King, who is Australia's Head of State, typically enjoys more luxurious travel arrangements....

One by one, England’s councils are going bankrupt – and nobody in Westminster wants to talk about it
Nearly one in five council leaders in England now say they are likely to declare bankruptcy in the next 15 months. The latest places to sound warnings about financial collapse include Stoke-on-Trent, Middlesbrough, Somerset, Bradford and Cheshire East.

And in the meantime it transpires that ( amongst 47 other MPs) our ''I was a junior at the Bank of England so can run a country'' granny freezer Chancellor Rachel Reeves can't even fill in her personal tax return and claims professional accountancy expenses to do so . Normal people ( and 600 other MPs) are expected to complete and file returns themselves and can't claim accountancy fees against tax . Surely ''parliamentary duties'' are just doing ''work'' for which they receive a salary like any worker? ------------------------------------- In all, Ms Reeves has claimed £1,225 for accountancy services since 2014. A spokesman for the Chancellor said her expenses were claimed and declared in line with Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) rules........So far this year, 10 MPs have claimed accountancy fees as an expense, including Foreign Secretary David Lammy who was reimbursed £247. Mr Lammy’s office also said that his claims were in relation to parliamentary work and therefore within the rules.According to watchdog IPSA, an MP’s accountancy bills can be paid out of the public purse as long as they relate to their parliamentary duties. An MP might hire an accountant to, for example, keep a record of their office costs or advise on potentially complex areas like a staff member’s employment status. However, David Whiscombe, an independent tax consultant, said: “I have great difficulty in seeing how preparation of a self-assessment tax return would not count as ‘personal accountancy or tax advice’. It should be no more difficult for an MP to file a tax return than for any other employee or office-holder. ------------------------ www.telegraph.co.uk/money/tax/income/rachel-reeves-claimed-1225-expenses-help-tax-returns/

The NHS has a 10 year plan.
Housing crisis has a 10 year plan
Realising that at the next General Election in five years time when the NHS is in ruins, and the Housing crisis and homeless is beyond help, they'll say ... 'We are only half way through our reforms we told you it was a 10 year plan, give us another 5 years'..... like any daft fool will fall for that one.

But, returning to the thread title, Labour have already spunked more than their fictitious £22bn black hole on pointless vanity projects.

And Trump, don't forget him.
Starmers shower of incompetent uneducated town councilors are demonstrating their unfitness for office daily, goodness knows what this country will be like in five years time.

Starmer and his 'top team' (lol) espouse all the virtues of left wing socialist policies while raking in hundreds of thousands of pounds in freebies and enjoying a luxurious lifestyle, including it seems, private jets. This government more than any previous Labour government are the epitome of champagne socialists. Do as we say, not as we do. Milliband has spoken of taxing foreign holidays (For proles) to reduce air miles to 'save the planet', yet in just ten months he has racked up 24,000 air miles, and Lammy flies to China in a private jet. This bunch of low life left wing hypocrites deserve nothing but contempt.
