I think Meghan has suffered from a similar form of abuse that Diana suffered. Jealousy from other members of the royal family who resented the attention she gets from the press. A press which sees her as self promoting because of her wish to talk about certain issues. A target of bad reporting aimed at increasing sales of their flagging newspapers. A strong resistance to change within the royal family. I'm not surprised Harry wanted to take her away from all the press attention after what happened to his mother but I don't understand why they want to stir things up with exposures like the Oprah interview and presumably this Netflix program. The only justification I can see is a wish to correct some of the lies that have been printed about them. The royal family is the best soap opera EVER... ...over a thousand years old and still going strong. It's nearly as good as the Archers and even longer running. In addition to being an international soap opera, the royal family is a sort of Ukraine, with it and its different members being used by various factions as pawns in a surrogate propaganda war.
• Firstly, there's Republicans and Socialists wanting to drive the royals out of office.
• Then there's racists and traditionalists who disliked Diana and her escapades, and object to non-Aryan blood being introduced.
• And there's also the ultra religious who still cannot get over the number of divorces, even though they're willing to overlook the number of illicit couplings.
On top of that, there's the Monarchy as a corporate body adding gravitas to the establishment's government, providing employment and status to the top 10% of it approx 500 employees and advisors — though who's the chairman and who's really the CEO (or chief string-puller) is difficult to discern.
The fact is that many ancillary activities — eg, news media, entertainment, hospitality, government, etc — gain a lot of income and prestige from the Monarchy, as does the UK itself.
And, of course, many British people really loved the Queen (whatever love means), and are waiting to see if King Charles measures up — and it's looking wobbly...

Well I watched It only for a certain amount of time about a half a hour then i had to go out and what i saw was the press hounding then prince william from his very young days to his teenage age years it increased after his mother death .And all they was saying they wanted to protect his family . Thats why they moved to canada. I never seen they mention anything about rascism . maybe they mentioned it afterwards or its to come in other serious . But whatever they say it dosent mean there lying . What you want them to do keep shut. |
