Misinformation about the killer of the young girls What misinformation? 'A British businesswoman accused of being the first person to share false information about the Southport killings of three girls has said the “mistake” has “destroyed” her. Bonnie Spofforth is alleged to have fired off a tweet on social media site X, formerly known as Twitter, wrongly claiming the stabbing suspect was an asylum seeker who came to the UK by boat hours after the three girls were killed' ( The Independent ) ______________________________________________ This MISINFORMATION was repeated all over social media platforms, and was soon picked up and repeated by far right groups including Patriotic Alternative. Several Neo-Nazi's were seen and photographed at the Southport riots, including David Miles, otherwise known as "Jack the Nipper", also Matthew Hankinson, who was jailed for six years for membership of the now banned organisation "National Action".

I suspect that had the government not sucked up to the Roma and Asian arsonists in Harehill and the Muslim threats in Manchester ,the ‘ right wing ‘ riots would not have occurred. The government grovelling to ethnic ‘ minorities’ crested the atmosphere for violent dissent .

Did Witchy manage to actually convince anyone to join the Hamas terrorist attack celebration? Is it actually effective or did people just run out there because they have a history of hating Jews and Israel?
Anyone could have posted bollocks, it happens all of the time. BLM were doing it when they were claiming the police are institutionally racist and that they must riot. This is just before Starmer decided that the police are perfect after he kneeled in solidarity with BLM (what a two-face cunt, huh?).
The riots were a result of years of lies, betrayals and oppression by the state under the mainstream parties. A vulcano effect. Starmer understands, he openly encourages the rage when he believes it furthers his agenda.

I am not sure what the crime is here. Spreading false information can only be a crime if one knows it is false, if one believes it to be true it is just reporting of information. Governments spread false information all the time yet are up in arms at others doing exactly what they do. There is something rotten here.

I dont know how or where the woman stands in relation to the law, but an investigation done by The Mail On Sunday conclusively proved that this woman was the first to post the missinformation on X (Twitter).
It was then repeated and picked up by far right activists who then went all out to spread the wrong information.
I would say that the woman was stupid, and I for one would not ever repeat any such information which came from some dodgy news site which I had never heard of, bearing in mind the potential consequences of posting such information.
This is where speculation is never the right road to go down, the correct thing to do in such instances is to only repeat OFFICIAL statements from the police, or from other official agencies such a government spokesperson, the CPS or a local politician / a mayor or council leader etc.

The fact that he looks about 10? That's the only picture they are circulating, he looks nothing like that now, they obviously want to protect his identity in prison fearing for his safety, of course we know most other murderers have their faces splashed all over the place of what they look like today not 8 years ago when they were at school.

I am not sure what the crime is here... Likewise. Are we going to criminalise being wrong or inaccurate? If that was the case pretty much all politicians and media pundits would be locked up.
Not to mention plenty of posters on here.

If we were to charge and jail everyone who ever spread misinformation , the House of Commons , Holyrood and every legislature on planet earth would be emptied. there is something extremely rotten here .

The other day , in conversation with me , you used the daily mail in a link to back up the accusations of the "far right" in these protests when it suited. dont get all holier than thou with us sid. You have posted your fair share of guff over the years I have been on this site and the old site with you. should we demand you are arrested next time you post fake news from labour? unlike you I wouldn't , and wouldn't revel in you being arrested , as I dont agree with what you say most of the time , but I will defend your right to say it. something that appears to be lost on you liberal lefties. This is yet another sad day for freedom of speech , and liberty in general under a labour government.

I doubt very much his identity will be protected in prison. More likely , he will be put in with sex offenders in a separate wing or prison away from the mainstream prison population. Im sure some nice prison warden will helpfully mention to the boys who he is and what he has done............

The truth isnt in labour or their support base.

Speculation is widespread and the government have said it is far right riots but have not indicated how they know this and whether it is false or true. It seems to be largely people with a history of violence getting a few bevvies and out for a bit of a rumble. Not my idea of a night out but let us not pretend those people do not exist and are to be seen in most towns on any night of the week. They are not ideologically bound they just like a fighting. Official statements too often are just bollocks and when governments control information they control all.
