Nigel Farage opponents try unusual tactic to block fans buying tickets for Reform UK eventNigel Farage’s opponents are attempting to reserve thousands of pounds worth of tickets to Reform UK’s annual conference to stop people from being able to buy them
Activists appear to be discussing the tactics on social media as they scheme how to prevent supporters of the right-wing party buying tickets to the event at Birmingham's NEC on September 20 and 21.
Online users are sometimes adding more than £10,000 worth of tickets into their online shopping basket at a time despite most admitting they have no intention of putting the payment through. It is an attempt to block real Reform UK supporters from attending the conference as they then appear to be none left.
Reform UK said: “This happens every single time we hold an event. They do think they are frightfully funny and clever. But of course we have systems in place to deal with them.”
surprisingly it's a lefty Mirror article.

The left are the enemy of free speech. Actually, they're just the enemy full stop.

"The Enemy" Are people who go into grieving communities and stir up trouble, attack innocent people and attempt to wreck a place of worship which has absolutely no connection to the murder of three children.
The Enemy - Are those people who loot shops, set police cars on fire, attempt to burn down buildings, attack police officers and vandalise their own communities.
What certain elements of Anti Reform UK people have done with regards buying out tickets in order to block members and supporters from getting tickets, can easily and appropriately be described as "Mischief", its not criminal, and it harms no one.
Personally, I couldnt be bothered to go to such lengths, even though I would rather boil my feet in a pan than vote Reform UK

Closing down debate is not the same as engaging in debate. If alternative voices are silenced all that is left is the one voice. Rarely will that be the one you support.

The left are the enemy of free speech. They proved that by scrapping the Freedom of Speech legislation for Universities

The enemy of free speech is ANYONE, regardless of who they are, who not only attempts to quash free speech, but also who deliberately or intentionally twists or bends the truth, or who spreads false propogand in order stir up or incite riot, or to promote hatred or division. The worst culprits over the past 15 years are without any doubt the so called "English Defence Leaugue" and those who associate with them.

Lrfties like you try to portray them as a threat to society. They are no more a threat to society than a bunch of a West Ham hooligans. The liars are the ones who want to use these dimwits to suppress free speech. Heres a clue who they are ….they are the same ones who insist Dave the biological male Scaffolder can call himself a women and have access to the same changing room as little girls .

The EDL are no longer in existence as a formal organisation, but informally they still exist, and MANY of the thugs who have rioted in Southport, Hartlepool, Sunderland, Manchester, Stoke and elsewhere have claimed to be EDL, many with EDL flags, scarves or T Shirts.
The EDL never were a threat to society, same as all the far right organisations, because none of them can muster widespread or popular support.
However, over the last 15 years the EDL been involved with a great many incidents of violence, intimidation, vandalism, public disorder, incitement to public disorder, assault, aggrevated assault, racism, arson and a whole host of other crimes.
A very long way from been a bunch of harmless dimwits

They tend not to gravitate towards extremism. Starmer needs to keep it that way . So far he’s not doing much of a job .

No , the worst culprit and the biggest enemy of freedom of speech would be the Labour Party........... The shocking truth about the erosion of our fundamental civil liberties by Tony Blair's Labour government will be exposed this summer in TAKING LIBERTIES, released on DVD in the UK cinemas by Revolver Entertainment October 15th 2007. Right to Protest, Right to Freedom of Speech. Right to Privacy. Right not to be detained without charge, Innocent Until Proven Guilty. Prohibition from Torture.
TAKING LIBERTIES will reveal how these six central pillars of liberty have been systematically destroyed by New Labour, and the freedoms of the British people stolen from under their noses amidst a climate of fear created by the media and government itself. TAKING LIBERTIES uncovers the stories the government don't want you to hear -- so ridiculous you will laugh, so ultimately terrifying you will want to take action.
Teenage sisters detained for 36 hours for a peaceful protest; an RAF war veteran arrested for wearing an anti-Bush and Blair T-shirt; an innocent man shot in a police raid; and a man held under house arrest for two years, after being found innocent in court. Ordinary law-abiding citizens being punished for exercising their 'rights' -- rights that have been fought for over centuries, and which seem to have been extinguished in a decade.
