I suppose it depends what you call fancy dress, I once wore an off the shoulder leopard skin number to a tarts and vicars party complete with wig stockings and suspenders and if I say so meself, I looked pretty damned good. It's a good job Mrs R (Mk1) was there because a couple of lads from support troop quite fancied me. Tbh support troop were always a bit iffy lol. However. This Marlene Headley character who goes by the name Ngoze Fulani and wears African dress because she is attempting to give the impression she's African, when in fact she has Barbadian ancestry. Perhaps this is why she got stroppy when Lady Hussey asked where she was from? Ok red you yourself weare a leopard dress was you dressing has a African ? like i saud before when has wearing a leopard print dress been African dress have you ever seen a African dress how beautiful bright colours they are. Indeed, I was dressing as an African, a high class African slapper lol. |

I think the law needs to clearly define 'racism' and what is actionable.
I very much doubt asking any one where they came from, regardless of colour or creed has broken any current law.
Therefore it is not a Racist comment, otherwise the police would be knocking on this old dears door.
My next step would be for the old dear to take this lady to court of defamation of character.
She will win simply because she has not broken the law.
These people who can call people racists, ruin their lives, reputation and status need to be called out, once these name callers have to pay compensation and apologise to the 'victim' they might think twice.

As for the defamation of character, that would only be the case if something was said that wasn't true. But the Palace have said that this was unacceptable, thus acknowledging that it took place.
So, no defamation of character.

There are laws the Race Relations Act 1965
This old dear has broken none of these laws.
However the only one who has broken any law is the black lady , she has defamed the good character and social standing, she's smeared the good name of this old dear, which she can 100% prove.
It's 'defamation of character' when someone is branded a 'racist', do you ever pay attention to what's going on?... just asking like.
