The PM has called senior police chiefs to an emergency meeting at Downing street ref the ongoing unrest up and own the country, which must be seen as a positive move. After the meeting he will give a press conference.
Will Starmer question the police about their total lack of continuity, or 'two tier' policing, which for millions of people is a serious and genuine concern and is fuelling growing resentment. Or will he use it as an opportunity to bash the 'far right'.
I suppose we'll see...

Indeed. The conclusion will be that it's all down to the "Far Right" and "Police Brutality". And the Manchester officer will be thrown under the bus, BAME/immigrants will kick off and the indigenous population will be blamed for "Intolerance".

Well there we are. I have to say few will be surprised. All the civil unrest we've seen recently has apparently got nothing to do with immigrant crime or two tier policing, it's all the fault of 'a few mindless [Far right] thugs' and the police are doing a wonderful job. Minority appeasing Starmer more or less said police all over the country are going to come down hard on any white gathering. As far as I can see Starmer has just poured petrol on a fire.

Is anyone watching this farce? The PM's address was a few minutes long and he said next to nothing other than praise the police. But he is now taking questions from what appears to be a selected audience who are very sympathetic. All the questioners seem to be asking Starmer what the government are going to do about 'Farage' and the far right! This is an absolute farce.
