What cost of living crisis? The one that removes disposal income from a healthy economy and creates a shortage of spending outside of basic commodities. Which incidentally genuine capitalism cannot survive and thrive without it. So when did it start and when will it finish?

Which incidentally genuine capitalism cannot survive and thrive without it. So when did it start and when will it finish? It started with Covid voted for by the whole of Parliament and was then fueled by a war in Ukraine as Commodity brokers used it like every war to profiteer creating inflation and then was made worse by the Bank of England raising interest rates, pretending it doesn't exist is like Gordon Brown denying we were about to hit an almighty recession. When will it finish is that some kind of rhetorical question?

They don't like awkward questions. Watch out Nigel, you'll get de-banked again if you continue to pose critical thought upon such issues. If he continues to spout Rightest drivel, then maybe. Asking legitimate questions isn't drivel though is it ? Quite straightforward and if answers were forthcoming could have prevented much anger that has spread across the country . Instead of the silence and anger we could have had calm and reflection ,something like "Hi Farage here , could you tell me if this knife killer was on a watchlist " ......"no"......."Ok thanks , how about an illegal immigrant?".....No....."OK that covers it , thanks again"

More riots, this time London and Hartlepool www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4ng1254ndeoClearly have nothing at all to do with what happened in Southport, this is just EDL Rent-A-Thug group looking to incite racial hatred. Everyone arrested should face the full force of the law - especially anyone involved in attacking Police or other Emergency Services. All The Best

Thinking that this is racial hatred is just a shallow acceptance of the Government (especially this Government) line, it is not about race, it is about the two tier standards being practised by the Police and the Establishment, it is about people jumping hospital waiting lists, getting automatic dental and GP appointment, jumping housing queues, having preferential treatment at job interviews, it is about the BBC advertising vacancies excluding white people, it is about Starmer having meetings with the police chiefs today telling them to crack down on "far right" protests whilst condoning the terrorist marches every saturday in London, it is about the lies about not rejoining the EU, it is about being taxed to fund whopping pay rises for Labour public sector supporters to buy votes, it is about the NHS, it is about the boats and the invasion of our country by people who have not right to be here.
It is not about racists, and to think so is really missing the point.

Unfortunately for Anderson his social mead bile is not protected by Parliamentary Privilege. Police should be looking to see if the threshold for "inciting racial hatred" has been met. Maybe one of them spending at HML will bring it home to them that their actions have very real consequences. All The Best

Maybe one of them spending at HML will bring it home to them that their actions have very real consequences. All The Best Posted this on the Shipley thread but I think it bears repeating and relates to this discussion: "Tony Hill, from Southport, has rebuilt the mosque wall smashed by Tommy Robinson’s thugs. Rep: Do you have a message for them? TH: Get your facts right. Facebook’s dangerous if you’ve got an agenda. There’s no need. It’s a diverse community, you can see by who is rebuilding it." x.com/SangitaMyska/status/1818946825480466532?t=vXIMivu4NqMMV60FYVzWdg&s=19 That right there is the sort of thing that makes Britain great.

The people of Southport have done a fantastic job of being a community to support. They've also made it quite clear that they do not want the rent a mob there.

"Former counter-terror chief accuses Farage of inciting Southport violence Neil Basu – a former senior Scotland Yard officer who was in charge of counter-terrorism from 2018 to 2021 – said there were “real world consequences” when public figures failed to “keep their mouth shut”. “Nigel Farage is giving the EDL [English Defence League] succour, undermining the police, creating conspiracy theories, and giving a false basis for the attacks on the police,” he said, referring to the far-right, Islamophobic group whose supporters are believed to have been involved in the rioting in Southport. “Has Nigel Farage condemned the violence? Has he condemned the EDL? Fomenting discord in society is what these people seem to exist for,” Basu added." www.theguardian.com/uk-news/article/2024/jul/31/farage-accused-of-inciting-southport-violence-by-former-counter-terror-chief

I dontremember the lefties in here complaining about BLM mobs a year or two ago …during lockdown. They were demonstrating about an incident in another continent . But when angry white people make their feelings known about a murder of three children that happened locally , they condemn it.

Not only an incident in another continent but the death of a career criminal resisting arrest
