My missus was one of them (and no, I won't let her live it down 🤣). To be fair, it was a tactical vote to keep the Fib Dims out (I voted Tory for the same reason). In the event, both of our votes were wasted and the Fib Dims won by a mile. Clearly my neighbours are idiots. Many of my family and friends voted Labour, I just can't wait to say ....... I told you so ... Nice to know you mix with some sensible people .

We'll have 5 years of Labour blaming Tories for all their disasters to come, but we know they are big fat fibbers. If the country was economically sound, Labour would not have come even near to winning the election. That's the reality you need to come to terms with.

I'm fully expecting tax rises, this is a Labour Government after all.
I am rather surprised that it only took them 3 weeks to drop their promise of £300 off energy bills - seems Starmer will say absolutely anything just to be elected - as the Labour membership found out in 2020.

That's why we should re-run the election: Labour voters had no idea what they were voting for.

Oh wake up Red I think SM was taking the mick especially out of Starmer wanting a rerun of the referendum Well, if 52% wasn't enough then 34% certainly isn't. And with Beer Korma's constant U-turns, Labour voters had no idea what they were voting for. So if Beer Korma wants to stand by his convictions he should call another GE to be run under PR. Unless he's a massive hypocrite of course.

I tell what would be a good idea, give us a name. Do we call you 'The' or 'TSM' or 'SM'? I'm fairly sure you have a name...

When are you going to come to the reality that blaming everything bad today is because of Thatcher, it's as ridiculous as it sounds.

I have an idea
Lets just ignore the fall in Real Terms of pay for nurses, doctors, teachers and our armed forces, lets continue on with the recruitment and retention problems.
Let us not find the resources to sort out the serious prisons population crisis, let us release more and more criminals instead.
Lets not try to repair the damage to our NHS, let the NHS continue on its downward spiral until it is no more, or ceases to function properly.
At least if we sat back and watched public infastructure and public services crumble, we would save tax payers money ... isn't that the Tory way of doing things. ?
It has been pointed out by Paul Jones from the Institute for Fiscal Studies, that the £20 Billion black hole is roughly equivelant to the National Insurance give-away which the Tories implemented JUST BEFORE THE ELECTION ... Sabotage.
You cannot improve, mend or repair public services AND give tax cuts at the same time, and the British people demand decent, functioning public services.

The Tories lost - all tax and spending decisions are made by the Labour Party. What Sunak and Hunt wanted to do is now irrelevant.
