The chav who was kicked had just attacked a police officer from behind. If that was my colleague my mate, I wouldn't have stopped with a kick. Those Pakistani chavs are very very lucky they chose to attack British police. In any other country in the world they would quite rightly have been shot down like the animals they are.

In the same circumstances I am sure the law would protect us if a violent aggressor showed signs of rising to his feet despite being told to stay down.

He did enough to put the guy in hospital have you never heard of a person being violently assaulted then going into hospital later in a critical condition.
