I think any lawyer worth his salt wouldn't find it too difficult to prove he used excessive force. What excessive force? Eh, kicking someone in the head and then stamping on it. When the perp has already had 1500 volts passed through his body and is of no risk to the public or officers.

The more I see of this, the more disappointed I become in the police: They should have kicked all of these thugs in the head, including the mum. After all, in any other country they'd all have been shot, so they'd still have got off lightly. So you want us to become a tin-pot, third-world, police state? I know that is what Truss and Braverman would love, but I had more faith in everyday people. All The Best

Okay, fair enough. But let's not forget the original perpetrator broke the 'law of the land' by resisting arrest and assaulting three police officers, leaving one female with a broken nose. He too should feel the full force of the law, and the copper in question should be sent on an 'anger management' course - we all know how liberals love their courses and training, so this officer could do that rather than losing his job. Although that assumes that the officer has done something wrong. Which he hasn't.Well he has, both by the letter of the law, and the standards set for the Police by the IOPC. All The Best

That's to be decided by due process, not randoms on an Internet forum. And until then the police officer is innocent of any wrongdoing

No, though you clearly do As long as the mob is dressed in blue and carrying a badge, a truncheon and a gun. All The Best

Well he has, both by the letter of the law, and the standards set for the Police by the IOPC. All The Best Really? When was the court case? Well Court Case pending of course, but the IOPC would not put him forward for being charged with so serious a crime as GBH unless they were very confident the evidence meets the threshold for conviction. To do otherwise would be a huge disservice to the Officer in question, the Police Force as a whole, and the IOPC itself. All The Best

And the IOPC haven't investigated anything: It's a standard recommendation in these situations. And when the matter has been fully investigated, which won't be by the IOPC, it will be passed to the CPS who will consider whether there is sufficient evidence to charge. And if there is, it will be for a jury to decide having heard and seen all of the available evidence (which none of us have). That's called due process and the rule of law, Nulla.

What are useless turds like this doing in British airports?

One things strikes me as odd. The Muslims and a few others demonstrate reasonably peacefully. If this had been in North London to a black family there probably would be rioting for two nights. In Tottenham, after Police killed Duggan, they holed up in the police station and neither they nor the IOPC bothered to receive or meet the family.
In Manchester, the IOPC were quick to meet with the family...

Btw, has anyone heard anything about the female police officer who was punched in the face by a Pakistani 'man', a punch that was hard enough to knock her over and break her nose?..
No, me neither. It seems she's been forgotten about. Not to worry, she's white and English so no one cares anyway.
