6.2 Criminal proceedings
In the year ending 31 March 2023, there were 160 criminal proceedings related to police officers and 51 related to police staff.
Of the criminal proceedings involving officers (where the verdict is known[footnote 14]), 115 (77%) resulted in the officer being found (or pleading) guilty and 19 (13%) resulted in a not guilty verdict. In a further 10 (7%), proceedings were discontinued and 6 (4%) resulted in no evidence offered.
Of the criminal proceedings involving staff, 43 (84%) resulted in the individual being found (or pleading) guilty and 4 (8%) resulted in a not guilty verdict. In a further 3 (6%), proceedings were discontinued and in 1 case (2%) it resulted in no evidence offered.

Doofus is indirectly claiming 1 All Roma are Christian 2 All if the rioters were Christian Roma . So yes he is an eejit and so is fiddler if he says the same . |

If yes then that is the politics of the sub continent whether you like it or not. Ok, I have asked myself the questions which you came up with, I have thought about it ( for a few seconds ), and here is my answer: To repeat - for the third time - the incident which caused the rioting involved a Roma family and Social Services, backed by police officers ( for those that cannot work it out, Roma people are a racial group related to Gypsies, and mostly come from Eastern Europe ). The rioters, looking at film footage from C4 News appear to be mostly Roma people, but also with some Asian and white people present. Listening to evidence, looking at film footage, this WAS NOT about the politics of the Sub Continent, it was not about an "Asian" issue or a "Muslim" issue. Once again, I repeat that Nigel Farage was utterly and completely wrong, and to say that he is not wrong "because some Asian people were present" is so ridiculous, its almost unbelievable that anyone could make such an assertion. And he carried on in that vein for quite some posts. The eejit. |

I can't find any record of an "Islamic Republic Of Rochdale"; I can find the "Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale". Should we perhaps make sure we are both talking about the same place? As of 2021 the demographic make up of Rochdale is: White: 57.2% Asian: 34.3% Mixed: 2.6% Black: 3.4% Other: 2.1% Arab: 0.5% Christianity is still the predominant religion, though Muslim is a pretty close second. So my point is that your image does not, in any way, reflect the reality of Rochdale. All The Best , and a glance on google images will show you many more pics of vociferous aggressive Muslims demonstrating in Rochdale, and in many other towns in this non islamic country. I think two officers will lose their jobs and one will get a criminal charge of GBH.
Further piece of info the OTT cop, when he kicks the chap sitting on the chair with his hands up, he then strikes his head with the butt of the taser.
I think they will try and get this sorted quickly due to community relations.

Unbelievable. The police officer who kicked that chav is facing a criminal investigation and will be interviewed under caution. I don't believe this, the spineless wankers are going to sacrifice him to appease the baying mob. I am absolutely disgusted. So you are rejecting the finding of the IOPC investigation before it has even finished? Is that not EXACTLY the same "jumping to conclusion without all the evidence" that you have accused those condemning the police behaviour of? I am also willing to bet that the IOPC has access to way more evidence than you and I combined. All The Best |

The footage of the kicking sparked a protest outside Rochdale police station on Wednesday, and hundreds of people gathered before a second protest began in Manchester city centre yesterday. This looked like it could erupt into riots, as did the police killing of Mark Duggan. But it seems someone has learned from the mishandling of the Tottenham killing — unlike then, Independent Office for Police Conduct personnel have met and had discussions with members of the man’s family. Unfortunately, the condition of the man who had been kicked is said to have worsened overnight. Let's hope for his sake (and, possibly, the wider community) he recovers soon...
And your wishes for the speedy recovery of the policewoman who had her nose broken? Non-existent apparently. |

Yes indeed that is an interesting aspect especially as they allowed two of the arrested chaps to leave yesterday do they know already it was someone else? Something does not add up and they are not being transparent, perhaps it was not the chaps they attacked. |

" The image I posted is a perfect example of Rochdale". This is of course incorrect. I should have said... " The image I posted is a perfect example of an aggressive minority who refuse to integrate, demonstrate at the drop of a hat, and insist their feelings are far more important than anyone else's".
