Anyhoo... The chavs who attacked the police, what do we think will happen to them? They will obviously be charged and appear in court. But the courts will be very aware that feral animals who have a propensity to dance around burning union jacks will be waiting for the verdict. Wills this influence the court? I sincerely hope not, but who knows. Of course it will. What the perpetrators did will be lost in the swell of brooding potential violence and misplaced sympathy for them. The injuries did to the police will be pretty much ignored . |

LOL are you serious? I posted a pic depicting hundreds of Pakistanis demonstrating in the 'islamic republic of Rochdale', and you post a pic of a handful of white people! I'm unsure what your point is? Where's the pic of hundreds of white English people demonstrating in Pakistan?.. I can't find any record of an "Islamic Republic Of Rochdale"; I can find the "Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale". Should we perhaps make sure we are both talking about the same place? As of 2021 the demographic make up of Rochdale is: White: 57.2% Asian: 34.3% Mixed: 2.6% Black: 3.4% Other: 2.1% Arab: 0.5% Christianity is still the predominant religion, though Muslim is a pretty close second. So my point is that your image does not, in any way, reflect the reality of Rochdale. The footage of the kicking sparked a protest outside Rochdale police station on Wednesday, and hundreds of people gathered before a second protest began in Manchester city centre yesterday.
This looked like it could erupt into riots, as did the police killing of Mark Duggan.
But it seems someone has learned from the mishandling of the Tottenham killing — unlike then, Independent Office for Police Conduct personnel have met and had discussions with members of the man’s family.
Unfortunately, the condition of the man who had been kicked is said to have worsened overnight. Let's hope for his sake (and, possibly, the wider community) he recovers soon...

Unbelievable. The police officer who kicked that chav is facing a criminal investigation and will be interviewed under caution. I don't believe this, the spineless wankers are going to sacrifice him to appease the baying mob. I am absolutely disgusted.
