Crimes involving violence against women and girls have surged by almost 40 per cent in England and Wales in recent years, according to a new report. The study, by the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) and College of Policing, found the number of recorded crimes has soared from an estimated 789,703 in 2018-19 to 1,080,157 in 2022-23. Deputy Chief Constable Maggie Blyth, deputy chief executive of the College of Policing, branded violence against women and girls a “national emergency”. Researchers found almost 3,000 crimes of violence against women are recorded by the police every day. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/violence-against-women-police-reports-b2583893.htmlPoliticians, past and present, have allowed and continue to allow hundreds of thousands of young men into this country who do not share our values, our traditions, our way of life, and in many cases not even our language. Yet some people appear to be surprised that violence against women is soaring. Someone is not joining the dots. Intentionally probably.

It would be interesting to know the demographics involved.

It would be interesting to know the demographics involved. It would indeed. However, I suspect it's probably racist to collect such data.

Dunno, but we'd also need a full breakdown of the allegations to go with it.
Things are not always as they might first appear.

I know of a chap, a foreign chap, who's in this country on a spouse visa ie his missus is a UK national.
He was arrested last week for sexual assault on her. His crime? He squeezed her arse.
Yep, he squeezed his wife's arse. Heinous.
And, if she presses charges, she can withdraw his right to remain in the UK and have him deported.
She won't of course because she has him right where she wants him: A virtual slave.
Oh yeah, the bullshit cuts every which way.

Let me start with a modern definition. I copy this exactly from the Britannica encyclopedia.
The bit I highlighted should enable you to smell a rat here. Something you see that is increasing can be either or both of the following reasons. It could be that there is more of it, and it could be that the definition has changed, like in the case of more crime it could be that more things are included in the crime category than before. The contentious one is rape, another word with a moving definition. You could also include assault, which now includes speech crimes.

I know we must be very careful what we say and do lest some fragile lefty becomes offended and informs 'ThinkPol'.

Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) is a strategic national threat, which has a devastating and long-term impact on the public on women and girls).
At least 1 in every 12 women will be a victim of VAWG per year (2 million victims) and we expect the exact number to be higher.
VAWG is not a single type of crime, but a collection of offences including Domestic Abuse (DA), sexual assault, stalking and harassment.
In the year ending March 2023, police recorded: ■ 103,135 rape and serious sexual offences ■ 400,213 domestic abuse-related crimes ■ 436,196 stalking and harassment offences ■ From August 2022 - July 2023, 41,540 CSAE offences were committed against girls aged 10-17. cdn.prgloo.com/media/034ed60aa6564c1fbdcfb03fd8e6a210.pdfOnline influencers like Andrew Tate could radicalise young men and boys into extreme misogyny in the same way terrorists draw in their followers, a senior police officer has said.
Deputy chief constable Maggie Blyth, national lead for policing violence against women and girls (VAWG), said the influencing of young boys online is “quite terrifying”.
She said the Online Safety Act needs to go further and that faster action should be taken to protect children.
Blyth said senior officers who focus on violence against women and girls are in contact with counter-terrorism teams to look at the risk of young men being radicalised. Speaking about harmful content online, she said: “We know that some of this is also linked to radicalisation of young people online, we know the influencers, Andrew Tate, the element of influencing of particularly boys, is quite terrifying and that’s something that both the leads for counterterrorism in the country and ourselves from a VAWG perspective are discussing.”
I guess most of us here can identify the advocates of misogyny among the regular posters. Whether Tate, or similar, can be blamed, we can certainly see from their off-the-wall posts on various topics how susceptible they are to wacky online propaganda...

I wouod like a complete breakdown of demographics, age and level of violence . I’d also like to know the numbers of false and unproven accusations . We do not need it. We have a dramatic increase in young men from cultures whereby women are second class citizens and we have a dramatic increase in violence against women. That type of of correlation is enough to get us turning off the oil taps, perhaps if we turned off the potential violent against women taps we would be on a winner. I will not hold my breath.

Tate is a confirmed Muslim . “■ 400,213 domestic abuse-related crimes ■ 436,196 stalking and harassment offences” Do all of these involve violence ?

Red - you are being woefully misled here. Let me start with a modern definition. I copy this exactly from the Britannica encyclopedia... BvL, I don't have to refer to the Encyclopedia Britannica, my wife knows everything... boom boom. Yes indeed the old ones are the best. Anyhoo... As I mentioned to TSM I am aware stupid things happen such are the times we're in. I am aware for instance that fragile woke types will insist criticism of them is verbal assault/abuse or some other nonsense and this type of 'hate crime' will be included in the figures. However, I think it's inconceivable given the massive rise in immigration over recent years particularly of people who do not share our values or way of life, that violence against women and girls has not gone up. One only has to think of the massive rise of so called 'grooming gangs' over the past couple of decades.

This is why the immigrant fertility rate is much lower amongst the Brits. You can get royally screwed if you marry or even cohabit as they call it these days. The amount of unwarranted power given to women in the drive for equity is now working agaisnt their own interests, i.e. what women actually want is to settle down, have a family and be looked after. They have outsourced the looking after function of the man to the state, and with disastrous consequences. One telephone call is all it takes to start the state looking for more work to do as useless councillors, coppers and all the rest of the pen pushers. It is a huge industry.

Yes I'm sure these barbarians are doing heinous things but the system will not admit anything, so their figures are most likely for the purpose of raising funds, and what with Labour and their PC training, they figure its time to give it another shot. They will have their PR agents coordinate an emergency to add to all our other emergencies, e.g. emergencies like climate change. Emergency = ££££
