Tell you what. I'll agree to stop 'preaching' in this thread if you'll agree to desist from stalking me with inane questionings about Man United. Agreed? That Mainoo's played alright for England hasn't he? Yeah, he did OK. But I'd like to see that kid from Blackburn given a start. Problem is he's white which would be an issue for the Pastor's unpublicised quota of having (at least) five black outfield players on the pitch at any one time.

Beards are fashionable with young men these days, it's a hangover from the hipster thing. The real issue is this guy has a crossbow and he's killed with it. If he made the weapon himself, no ban would have been able to stop these murders. But if he bought it mail order, controls might have stopped him getting a crossbow. I wonder. I don't have any figures at my disposal But if I recall correctly this brings to four the number of people I remember being killed in the UK by a crossbow, In a total of two attacks in the past fifty years. How many were killed with legally held guns How many by Illegally held guns How many by knives We have a country in which the current shower ENTHUSASTICALLY voted for a past bill to deny a 16 year old the right to buy a knife and fork yet only last week a young lad was hacked to bits in a lane up the road from our railway station and another was hacked with an axe a month before that. I don't know how many crossbow wielding murderers there are in the UK but I personally don't see a ban on their sale doing much to lower the murder rate |

There is certainly the possibility about a conversion to islam and then taking exception to something about the girlfriend. Now the authorities might not want this to be discussed for political reasons. The suspect does not look British / English despite allegedly possessing a British name possibly just one parent is foreign. |

I see this chap the police were looking for has been arrested at Bristol Temple Meads. Over the past few days I've listened to two or three reports about him on various TV/radio programmes, and not once was it mentioned in any of the reports I listened to that the suspect was black. A description was given - about 5'10" last seen wearing dark clothing and baseball cap, but the most obvious detail of all, the fact that he's black, was not mentioned. Why? Rhetorical question of course, everyone is very aware that these days to even utter the 'B' word renders you liable to a volley of politically correct abuse from outraged lefties.
And before any of the aforementioned outraged lefties mentions it - I am aware a picture of the suspect was eventually issued, but a picture isn't much good if you're listening to the radio. Why not simply mention skin colour in the description, yes yes I know, political correctness. I cant help wondering whether, had the suspect had been white, would the police and media have been so reluctant to mention it?

The victims of a triple murder in Bushey have been named as the family of horse racing commentator John Hunt. Kyle Clifford, from Enfield, north London, is wanted in connection with murders of three women who were found fatally injured in a house in Ashlyn Close, Bushey, Hertfordshire, just after 7.00pm on Tuesday. BBC star John Hunt's wife Carol, 61, and two of his daughters, Louise, 25, and Hannah, 28, were found seriously injured at their £800,000 detached home. They died despite the efforts of paramedics. Hunt, 58, who is a former police officer, has worked for BBC Radio Five Live for the last two decades. He may have raised the alarm when he returned home at around 7.00pm, as reported by The Telegraph.
