No, it was simply every candidate I would have preferred not being in parliament as opposed to being there. They are the sort that make problems worse, not better. ah ok. So what was it you were looking for in particular in a party/candidate? I wanted someone with a brain. We had two women running. The Lib Dem one owns a junk shop and the Tory one is a boring councillor who just turns up at meetings to show her face by the looks of things, and then the Reform guy is ex-army and a full on woke puppet that has not the faintest idea about Islam, so sounds stupid.
Indeed it is a nationwide problem that the quality of candidates is so low. There are some candidates I like in other areas and who have stood at other times, but the really intelligent ones never get very far. I remember UKIP had one who was if I remember correctly a professor of English at Oxford, or at least some really accomplished academic. You could tell he was smart the moment he opened his mouth, but like many, he never got more than a few thousand votes at most. It's the bullshitters who win. I mean if you are running a party that is campaigning on British values, an Oxford English professor is just the kind of brains you need to tell you what our culture actually is!

Im not British. We have bagpipes , Gaelic language , kilts and tartans , you have the English language morris dancing and multi cultural London. Back on subject though fair enough. Do you think the fptp system that is essentially handpicked brain dead benchwarmers backed by a monolithic party system chokes off intelligence integrity and vision?

Yes it does now, but go back 70 years and intelligence was admired. Remember when they had to sit in front of Robin Day? They could never pass off any bullshit in his hot seat.

Its surprising why no one wants to talk about what is stifling intelligence , creativity , vision and all the attributes that the uk parliament , and to be fair , other parliaments are clearly missing in todays world.

Why would they, unless you can be turned into believing the big lie, they see no point in you being around. If you notice thinktanks are big business these days where everybody comes up with ideas that actually suit what the globalists require from them. But of course, you being a pleb like the rest of us cannot see it is all about the greater good, even if all the power and control and wealth all ends up in a very few hands. Because obviously they know what's best for you it just so happens it is what turns out best for them. You see its just about knowing your place my good man.

Rulers rule - the people suffer... is the same as it has always been..nothing changes That actually made me laugh, what separates them from a Junkie lying in the street with a needle sticking out of their arm? They are both chasing the ultimate hit and both will end up a wreck and create more strife for everyone else.

You populists better not be laughing at us sheepbrain, or we will get you, it's the end of populism you know, in all honesty you are hilarious, populism only offers people freedom to actually choose which I have never seen one of your junkies even think was a good idea, so we already know how much you fear us, enjoy the needle.

Im satisfied I did my bit to stop labour , but the system rewarded them anyway. Not much we can do about it now. Time to buckle down , and watch the inevitable shit show enfold over the coming years, and get prepared to pay back all the debt they run up in their time in power.

It's a forgone conclusion, name me a Westminster party government that has left leaving the majority of people better off than when they started or the country as a whole a better place than when they started in your lifetime. It isn't going to happen and everything they come out with is pure rhetoric and lies you just as well put my dog in charge the outcome will be the same.

Some say the UK is already the US's poodle bitch, so maybe your dog might make some difference for them as long as it didn't spend its time humping...

So week 1 and already Labour are breaking their pledges.. Last October Labour pledged to reduce the use of private jets... so how is that going? Lammy flew to Stockholm on an Airbus A321 three days ago. Starmer took a private RAF flight around the home nations on Friday, while Healey jetted off in a separate RAF plane to Ukraine. The two then took separate RAF jets to fly to Washington DC. Yesterday Starmer flew to Berlin... Looks like we need more private jets boys...
