On the plus side, might we get a rest from the 'outraged' lefties theme for a while? I wouldn't bet on it... I would bet we are going to have some outraged righties in Parliament, I don't think they will get the same coverage as they did in the EU though. I might be wrong.

Just think, those 13 seats may have cost 100 Tory seats. Oh indeed, but the reason many tory voters like me voted Reform is because the tories aren't very tory are they. Reform will go from strength to strength over the next few years. More power to them. Long may they split the vote on the right. One day in the distant future Reform might compete with the Lib Dems for 3rd largest party.

It's going to be a long night, and even though a Labour landslide is pretty much a given, lets hope it's less than expected.

A bit silly that race between some constituencies which one declares the result first. All those people running with the ballot-boxes.

It’s funny seeing wee Krankie on the itv results panel I know she is guilty of nothing as it stands ,perhaps she’s saving up for a new camper van.

There's a novel idea. However, I am looking forward to seeing Farage in the HoC, not least of all because of all those left wing pro EU ideologues who have spent years sneering and rubbishing him. Farage's maiden speech is going to be epic. Of course I'm going to be forced to eat these words if he isn't elected, but all the signs so far say he will be.

There's going to be a by-election in Sunak's constituency as soon as possible. He will be gone and won't be missed.

I do get the feeling Reform overall are going to get a lot more votes and have been played down by the establishment on purpose, not like we have seen that before.

Excellent result if it’s correct. I would just thank everyone who voted reform for handling labour this stonking majority.

Monte, you don't seem to understand, there is no 'splitting' the right or centre right vote. If the Tories were right wing, Reform UK would not exist. The only reason Reform UK are, according to exit polls, doing so well is because the Tories are not centre right Conservatives, and tbh, this is hardly news.
