Anyone like myself who runs a business and has employees this is not a good result, they aren't for business or the working people, taxing people to death is not the solution, but the next GE will see their majority trashed, it's just sad people don't know enough about politics or economics to know Labour is not going to resolve anything, just make it worse .... but heyho ... remembering the old I told you so.

I went tactical in the end. Not what I wanted to vote for but needs must and decision made. I voted tactically too. My constituency was a close call in 2019, but isn't expected to be this time. To be honest I could have voted with my heart (although I was undecided who that would be!) but ended up just wanting to put the boot in. I live in a safe Labour seat. Lib Dems beat Reform into 3rd place by 3 votes. Catherine McKinnell (Lab) 24,440 50.3 (+5.9) Guy Renner-Thompson (Con) 6,678 13.7 (-18) Aidan King (Lib Dem) 5,936 12.2 (-1.8) Reform Deborah Lorraine (Reform) 5,933 12.2 (-) Green Sarah Peters (Green) 5,035 10.4 (+6.3) |
