Starmer will sell his soul to be Prime Minister, that man has all but promised all things to all people, and it's obviously working because he's clearly hoodwinked you.
Starmer is a self-serving Labour lefty leader, just like his predecessor Blair.
Blair spent all his time as Prime Minister making plans to feather his own nest, just like Starmer will do ..... they don't give a toss about the less well off or the working men/women, it's all a con.
Can you honestly say hand on heart that Tony Blair is now worth at least £80 million through after dinner speeches and hard work.
Come on see2 you need to redeem some self respect on this forum, the fact you cover up and make all sorts or excuses for the Labour party past and present, or in your own words .... New Labour that is now Next Labour but is still ruled by New Labour .... don't you see how barmy that sounds?
1. In your opinion. SunaK is the epitome of Conservatism as seen daily on TV, AND ON THIS FORUM, denigrate the opposition and pie in the sky for tomorrow. Reminds me of 2016) Sunak and the Tories have been conning people like yourself for decades. Just look at the history. 2. If Starmer is elected, and is half as good as Blair / Brown you wont see a Conservative government for a decade or two. (Unless there is another International Financial Meltdown). 3. That is Tory thinking, for the Tories it is all about making the rich richer. Sadly for you there are actually some people with much cleaner minds. 4. I'll give my opinion on Blair's after dinner speeches just as soon as you post how much Thatcher made on after dinner speeches. 5. I don't make excuses for the Labour party, I didn't even vote for Corbyn. I do object to the lies thrown at Blair. Your last comment is barmy, it is a product of your political bias, and nothing else. Half as good as Blair/Brown? You set such an extremely low bar A war criminal and a ill tempered ,one eyed history teacher who sold off the gold at giveaway prices and wrecked the pensions of everyone who is not a public sector employee so just about anyone from the office cleaner to the local optician fits the bill

How dare you question the integrity of another poster when that poster has clearly pointed out the flaws in your logic.
The only one who should be 'questioning yourself and your thoughts' ..... is you...... plain and simply because you don't have any OF YOUR OWN.
You're drip fed the lefty misinformation and then peddle it is FACT, then have the audacity to call none believer's in this misinformation as 'Lairs'...
They/we aren't liars ........we are called realists.
NOPE, I pointed out the flaw in HIS logic. Your second point IS A GREAT BIG FAT STEWPID TYPICAL CONSERVAITEVLY BIASED LIE. I only refer to posted comments as lies when they are lies. IF "they/we" weren't blagging lies then I never referred to them as lies. Simple straight forward reality. Well I'll leave it there then .... I lost interest in your response after .......... STEWPID ......that sort of sums you up in a nutshell ... need I say more.

But you literally said that you feel that elected MPs are far more informed on issues than you - so what else are we to think? Yes he clearly did, despite his attempts to ignore his so called belief that ''nanny knows best'' (ie MPs) provided that nanny isn't a Tory MP . Only someone who is a follower with no independent thought process and isn't very bright could possibly have that viewpoint No, just one more lie. My position is and was, that MPs are more informed than, and have greater access to information than, the average voter. Pretty obvious really. So your 'nanny knows best' effort once again exposes just what a dim witted individual you are.

I obviously disagree - as I have explained, I dont think MP's are necessarily more informed. I accept that you believe they know more than you and are happy to delegate all decisions that need to be made, but don't believe that is a majority view. The set up is a million time safer than relying on people like yourself with fixed opinions. I have little doubt that most MPs are more informed than yourself, that you might doubt that looks like a touch of arrogance on your part. I have little doubt that most MPs are more informed than yourself,You are still studiously ignoring my earlier post on your ''belief'' that MPs are all knowing because they are MPs How can Angela Rayner , the deputy leader fit with your idea of ''nanny knows best''?

The set up is a million time safer than relying on people like yourself with fixed opinions. I have little doubt that most MPs are more informed than yourself, that you might doubt that looks like a touch of arrogance on your part. Well lets take an example - Brexit. I was in favour of EFTA membership that would have kept us in the Single Market - yet an overwhelming proportion of MP's rejected EFTA and voted for Johnsons deal (presumably because they were better informed?). So with hindsight who do you think made the correct decision - me or the MP's?

Question: If MPs had voted in favour of leaving the EU would you have supported leaving the EU? I dare you to answer honestly. All The Best I am ALWAYS honest (I may make mistakes but I don't tell lies). Don't insinuate your insult with such a shit dare. I would not have supported Brexit regardless of who supported it because I believed the country was not prepared for Brexit, i.e. too many internal weaknesses. And I said so at the time. As back then, I still have no way of knowing whether Brexit was the wright or wrong way for the UK to go. IMO the referendum might have been the right question, but entirely at the wrong time. i.e. IMO the right time would be after the UK reduced our internal difficulties rather than falsely blaming the EU for our own failure to blossom. So you don't believe in Democracy. Hence your blind support of the EU. All The Best
