It's a psychological problem. Like I said, a recognised illness. All The Best It may well be recognised, but those that do the recognising have a vested interest. It is sad to say that science is no longer the game of gentlemen that it once was, and a lot of corruption exists. This includes falsifying data, omitting data that does not agree with the hypothesis, and even getting chatGPT to write the science papers. You see many journals simply don't do any review at all. It is therefore no longer science by definition. |

So you think Depression (one of the potential outcomes of Gender Dysmorphia) is not real? Depression is, in part, manifested as chemical imbalances in the brain. Imbalances that can be measured, and in some cases rectified by medication. If Gender Dysmorphia causes a measurable chemical imbalance in the brain it stands to reason that Gender Dysmorphia is "real". Oh, and it has nothing to do with "the political views of the day" - almost every culture on earth with any form of written history records cases that would now be recognised as Gender Dysmorphia. It is a condition that is as old as recorded history. The only real difference now is that modern medicine is now able to intervene at the "physical body" level, not just the "brain chemical" level. He had a massive effect on America and still does. He applied Freud's ideas to advertising.
Now you can see why it was Freud became the greatest. Chances are he got a Hollywood-like makeover.

I can see that he was the greatest because his work was ground breaking for the time . If his work has had a massive effect on the US it’s a testament to it. It probably explained why the art went all weird as well, e.g. Picasso and the like. |
