Well bosses can be in the dark at times though not all the Execs would be and this inquiry is an opportunity to spill the beans on who she thinks should have told her. To my knowledge this has not happened yet.
On women CEOs, women bosses having short haircuts are functional, it is faster to dry thier hair. Of course for some it also suits them.

In the upper tiers only psychopaths make it, she has stabbed many in the back to get where she is. Look at Sunak, he lies, stabs others in the back. He doesnt get that lies are observed, he does not get it, that he carries on regardless, unaware that his credibility is nil. Thats the rub, he does not get it, like Vennells. The sickest people get power. The scum always seem to rise to the top. I saw that for myself even locally at close quarters in my few years in the Labour party. You have to be prepared to compromise on so many principles to get to the top in any power structure most of the time, that most of the people ending up in charge of everything are the ones least morally suited to be there. There are exceptions of course. But they are exceptions.

Somebody showed me the appearance of Elaine Cottam (née Tagg) at the inquiry in November 2023.
If she’s typical of the ability of Post Office management — even at junior level — it’s a wonder it’s still in existence…
