Of course, it's right for Gove redirectd the million pounds of taxpayer's money until the owners/housing association get their act together, the reasons why Gove did is in my previous post above which is a warning to others to also get their act together, as when and if they get their act together, he will probably release the money He probably give the money back if they get there act together. why didnt he redirect the money to regeneration scheme like i said. there goes another kick in the theeth for the suppossed leveling up scheme. And the one picking up the bill will be the RBH rent payer like me

What i don't understand with these properties and mould is it a design fault? some seem to be relatively new. Mould is usually associated with poor heating and ventilation. A dehumidifier, opening windows, and wiping down any mould with bleach keeps mould at bay. This lad could have died for the want of a bit of education and a 50p bottle of bleach. When I last rented a property, the rental agreement gave advice on mould and it was my responsibility to do all I could to prevent it.

Surly It was the responsibility of the landlord to provide a dehumidifier and that was RBH

I agree we have a small bathroom which has an air brick like all the other rooms in the house near the bath and shower which helps to keep it aired to deter mould forming, when having a shower, we first open the ruddy window to reduce condensation on the tiled walls, when finished we wipe the tiles down and use a window vac to remove any condensation and water, all it takes is a few minutes of elbow grease.

There was a lady who was pregnant who slept iin the living room because of damp showed Grove black mold up her walls .
Grove to his credit seen really shocked and sympathetic to wards the women .
You people who say its to prevent mold seem to be laying blame on the poor parents because they didn't control damp.
I remember at one time the flats was all boarded up during new labour regeneration scheme because they was unfit to live in.
At some stange RBH allowed residents to live in .
