If the usual suspects say that it was because Asian people, black people, people from the Caribbean did not make the grade, or match the required intelligence / education levels, then they are quite simply racists with racist excuses. It's racist even if they didn't make the grade? What sort of backward reasoning is that?

Why was it that until a certain point in modern history, that the Metropolitan Police served a population which was 6.6 million people, of which 14% were non-white, but the police was 99% white. ? Clearly the Metropolitan Police in the past has not been even remotely close to been representative of the population it serves - but why ? If the usual suspects say that it was because Asian people, black people, people from the Caribbean did not make the grade, or match the required intelligence / education levels, then they are quite simply racists with racist excuses. In the 1980s when young black people on Londons housing estates, riddled with poverty and crime only ever saw white policemen, would they question why there are no black police officers ?. Quotas, or positive discrimination, is NOT a policy of discriminating against white people, it is a policy of putting right an obvious imbalance / discrepancy which without doubt has its origins in discrimination way back. Well they came here against the will of the British people. You must expect a backlash.
