Mark Harper on the Keuennsberg programme today said the Tories are not for turning, and that their plans are working, his message to the electorate is you, with that other word in front of you. Mark Harper sums up all that is wrong with the Tories, he was minister for god knows what, and humiliated himself on tv by not taking responsibility for owt, resulting in a disaster.

I gave up on media interviews of politicians decades ago I remember Brian Redhead ripping lumps out of Nigel Lawson I remember Robin Day describing John Nott as a a Here Today, Gone Tomorrow cabinet minister, which of course, he was. At the height of the utterly pointless bollocks regarding Blair’s Dodgy Dossier i remember Rod Liddle engineered every one of John Humpries’ 8:20 morning heavy interview slots into a gratingly cringeworthy session where Humphries was forced to winkle his way into giving the interviewee every opportunity to rubbish Humphries’ insistence that there was something fishy about the way that dossier was put together…….. The media these days pander to their prima donna interviewees and let them get away with murder… |

Im sure both parties see an election as a con job, that they must speak half lies so that when in power, they can do what they really want. The Tories not so much as Labour. It shows that when you go left, criminality is not far behind, you cant stand for communism and call it that.

I saw him a couple of weeks back and he skewered the Labour speaker on crime. I thought he was good. Yet he cannot promise things the party have not yet decided on. |

Some time ago, he was minister for god knows what, he had to make a tough decision to prevent something bad happening, he did not. Hid like the coward he is.

The Tories are on a wing and a prayer, the best hope lies in a hung Parliament, because nobody in their right mind votes for the Westminster party. People might have noticed politicians are so removed from everyday life of the population they just as well try and govern from Mars. Their biggest worry it seems is they might get attacked by members of the public these days for the awful way they have governed over them. I don't know how the public could get there anyway, there isn't a road left drivable and they couldn't afford the public transport either, meanwhile they spend 5 million a day on keeping illegal immigration rolling and wonder why the electorate are growing a burning hate for them as they work out more ways to screw them over.
