There's a huge increase in mental health issues and people carrying sharp knives, machetes and swords. Almost like there was a battle going on.

Mental health problems are due to modern diets, as a child I had pomegranates as a treat, main meals consisted mainly of turnips, rabbits and run over pheasants, today's youth are not given such food, but live on popcorn, takeaways, pepsi cola and crack cocaine.
If parents fed their children properly, junk food outlets were bulldozed down for parking spaces and all heads of family given an allotment then much of presents ills would disappear. Drug dealers should be given life in prison and anyone importing drugs should be executed as in south Asia countries. All NHS support for drug addictions should be stopped immediately and the resources diverted to old age pensioners hip replacements and anyone convicted of any offence, however minor, should have the sentence doubled if they were under the influence of drugs.
These modest measures would help no end I am sure.

I think it comes down to a benefits culture that incentivises the breeding of unwanted children with too many brought up outside of a stable family environment, identity politics that leave people unsure of where they fit in society and a media that promotes unrealistic, and often unhealthy, lifestyle expectations.
Throw all three together and you have a perfect storm of mental health issues.

Both my knees are shot and I am in line for replacements. I would happily have the operation cancelled if I could be assured that the money saved be invested in having a a sackload of pomegranates shoved up your smug arse
