An Islamic extremist murdered a man in the street in protest against the Israel and Gaza conflict, a court has heard. Ahmed Alid, 45, fatally stabbed Terence Carney, 70, after "chancing" upon him in Hartlepool in October, Teesside Crown Court was told. Mr Alid denies murder and the attempted murder of his housemate. Apparently this Ahmed Alid chap, the defendant and illegal immigrant, has pleaded not guilty to murder and attempted murder. Maybe he's not the brightest, but you would have thought that his publicly funded legal team would have advised him that since he is in fact guilty, a guilty plea would reduce his sentence. I cant figure out why he pleaded not guilty, particularly since he made such a big thing about killing for his god.

Maybe he's not the brightest, but you would have thought that his publicly funded legal team would have advised him that since he is in fact guilty, a guilty plea would reduce his sentence. I cant figure out why he pleaded not guilty, particularly since he made such a big thing about killing for his god. Well, he's quite clearly not guilty until tried by a court. Perhaps he will try the Lee Rigby (act of war) defence. Or perhaps he's looking to get manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility. (Crazy?) Yes, he's guilty as judged by Rackham and some people on the Interweb, but it's the courts that really count. |

The thread isn't about beer korma or Starmer, it's about a nasty stabbing in Hartlepool resulting in the death of a man. Allegedly committed by a Moroccan asylum seeker.
It's tragic that we are letting people into the country from Africa, housing and feeding them, if they then repay it by murdering our citizens.
