Indeed that is all you know for sure. Exactly! All we know for sure is that Brexit is becoming less popular by the week. Not quite all you know for sure is that where we are now is not popular. The widespread and concerted blaming of Brexit on that position is having an effect when in actual fact generally we are in the same position as some in the EU and better than most irrespective of what measure you use. Is Brexit to blame for their positions, perhaps it is, perhaps they miss us.

Going by the results of their own poll, it doesn't appear to have made much of an impact.

A GB News poll asking whether their viewers would vote to remain or leave if the vote was held again tomorrow, voted Remain by 45 to 55 on Sunday. LOL! The look on the smug presenter's face when he sees the outcome of the poll is just priceless (see the video link in the tweet, not the first video in the link). Of course, the same presenter came back later to say that Remainers must have organised on Twitter to produce the result. I suppose it's possible. But two things: 1) the results reflect the vast majority of polls conducted by others, such as YouGov; and 2) it shows that Remainers are organised and will be better prepared next time round. www.indy100.com/politics/gb-news-brexit-vote-2658726837
No such thing as remain, Whoiney - we've already left.

No such thing as remain, Whoiney - we've already left. darling is still trying to fight arguments that were settled 6 years ago... Who needs to 'fight arguments'? The facts speak for themselves: 'Among the Group of 7 advanced countries, Britain is the only one with an economy that is smaller now than it was before the pandemic started.' GB News' poll just returned a negative verdict on Brexit. GB News! Let that sink in, Doc.

It's pretty amazing but you, who are a staunch defender of EU membership, spend more of your life watching GB News and reading the Daily Mail and Express than I ever did - and I voted to leave the EU...

Also GBN (and TalkTV) are not right wing stations of any kind (hard, extreme etc). Some people have been watching the BBC for so long they don't understand what an unbiased station looks like. Unlike the BBC these stations are perfectly happy to give air time to all views. GB News' mission statement is to lend an ear to Britain's 'marginalised and overlooked voices'. It's a channel for wingnuts, in other words. So you don't know what the question was Kim? I'm not surprised. I was watching BBC's Politics Live the other day and they had Tom Harwood as one of the panelists - along with the obligatory Lib Dems and other such Leftie dross. He was like a fox in a chicken coop - feathers flying everywhere. What's different about Harwood is that he actually knows the facts and he took the Lefties apart. One of them was so completely stumped by having her argument comprehensively trashed that she resorted to an ad hominem attack: "you're just a GB News presenter so you're just spouting extreme right wing propaganda". But you can bet your life Harwood won't be invited back. On the bollocks about Brexit, I suggest that if there is any enthusiasm for rejoining the EU it's because the Remoaners have never stopped campaigning for the EU, whereas the Brexiteers have stopped. The BBC continues to blame absolutely every problem on Brexit, despite the fact that we've had a pandemic that shut down the economy. If the state broadcaster keeps telling people that Brexit has damaged the country it's a simple fact that many people will begin believing it. But I also wonder if I detect the hand of the EU in this. It's in their interests to discredit Brexit to prevent other countries leaving the EU. It's almost certain IMO that the EU are funding this propaganda.
