What makes him "far-right"? Communists (far-left) was founded on anti-religion and did this all the time. I know they're totally brainwashed today, which is why I'm asking.

I have to disagree with you yes the knife and screwdriver are not weapons of offence normal household implements, however he intended to carry out an attack even went on a recon to his intended target, his attempt to buy a Firearm and smuggle it into the UK went far beyond just thinking about it and planning it. The evidence IMHO was strong enough for charges to be brought if not the CPS would not have charged him, each and every case is based on it merit no matter if its a minor offence or more serious I have a set of lethal knives and a screwdriver in my kitchen drawer. Await headlines; "82 year old grandma right wing extremist arrested". Just owing X doesn't make it a weapon. What you intend to do with X, especially if you announced you intend to do it, can make it a weapon. Almost anything can be a weapon. I can think of 2 ways to kill or maim someone with a rolled up newspaper, and 2 (rather obvious ones) with a bunch of keys. If I announced I intended to do just that, and then cased out the intended target area, the Police would be at risk of dereliction of duty if they did not arrest me. All of that said, "under the mattress" is not the place normal, sane people would keep either kitchen knives or screwdrivers. All The Best |

And you won't be arrested for having it, unless you have declared you intend to use it to kill someone, and then the physical article is irrelevant, the fact you stated your intent to kill someone is. So not far Right Dur😂 And who's the IRA these days. Well Continuity IRA have carried out more terrorist attacks than National Action and Scottish Dawn combined. So it's easy to see where the terrorist threat is from.  |
