Sorry to disappoint, but it doesn't affect me directly since my vehicles are compliant.
I quite agree with the French being taxed to death though.
Fuck 'em!😂

So why did the country invest £20 billion or more in Crossrail if not to facilitate you outer zone dwellers getting about?

Sadiq Khan braced for major blow as Government backs Bill to SCRAP Ulez expansionThe Government has decided to back a Tory MP's Private Member's Bill seeking to scrap the expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (Ulez) in a move which could cause a major upset for Sadiq Khan. The Greater London Low Emission Zone Charging (Amendment) Bill, introduced by MP Gareth Johnson, had its second reading in the Commons today. A 'source' close to the London Mayor described the proposed legislation as an "unprecedented assault on democracy". www.gbnews.com/politics/sadiq-khan-gareth-johnson-ulez-private-members-bill I read a report today Red where cyclists will be made to have a form of identication on their cycles and have a valid certificate of insurace like any othere motorist...

About time too. However, I doubt many will bother.

I suspect that some amongst our number will be having a rude awakening in the not too distant future with respect to their current disdain for public transport.
But that's something for them to look forward to.

The massive cost to people trying to go about their daily life. Balanced against making some of our cities so toxic as to constitute a serious and immediate health risk. and continuing to pollute to the ONLY home we as a species have? Yeah, ULEZ needs expanding NOT contracting. All The Best

Christ today London's air has never been cleaner and that was before Khan imposed ULEZ which is nothing more than a cash cow dressed up as an environmental necessity.
