Well it seems to in starmers case...Strange how these people will happily lie about some things but not others, isn't it?......I want to know what he’s using currently.....
Starmer refuses SEVEN times to deny taking drugs while studying to be a high-flying lawyer...

Well there's one good reason you should never take drugs. FFS.......Fictional Labour frontbencher better known than real ones, survey finds....
A fictional Labour frontbencher is better known than many of the real ones in Keir Starmer’s shadow cabinet, a survey has found.
Fiona Wilson was known to 47% of respondents to the survey, carried out by Portland Communications for Times Radio, with 15% feeling “favourable” towards her.

Who cares whether he did or did not ?
Will it affect the outcome of a general election ?
Is this a number 1 issue on Britains doorsteps ?
Did David Cameron REALLY stick his willy into a dead pig ?
Haven't we got better things to debate ?

I don't really care too much what people do when they are young and foolish. Especially in college/uni. It's when they are older and foolish we have a problem, as in Starmer's case.

Why doesn't he just come clean, he just can't tell the truth, he hasn't got it in him, he's not even prepared to just say .... 'Yes I took drugs when I was young and foolish, my advice is don't take drugs' ... that's all he has to say, this is the caliber of the man who could be running our country, a dishonest, lying, deceitful, sneaky, sly , double standard hypocrite, that's what you'll be getting when you get Starmer

I picture Starmer as just another corrupt weak Blairite drone with Obama's fist up his backside. The drug story is most likely being used as a shameless self-promotion rigged scandal to impress his junkie supporters. It's what they did in America, which is now one big stoner.

Ah yes, I remember the Blair years ... When poverty in this country fell instead of rose, when living standards went up not down, when the economy was doing well, when we had years of sustainable growth, and when public services were in good order, when the NHS was working properly, when waiting lists fell. Yes, those horrible Blair years, not like now When homelesness fell, when children did not wait months for urgent mental health appointments, when ambulances turned up within response times, when you could get a bus at night or at weekends. So, you believe that Keir Starmer will be "just like Blair" do you ? In that case .... BRING IT ON

Foundation hospitals and huge pay raises for pen pushers, where even today Blair is pushing for more privatisation in the failing NHS. The money saved through Thatcher's booming economy is what created the money pot that NuLabour blew. It's very easy to spend money, and when they blew the lot they were out on their arses.
Still, you were probably on drugs at the time.

My goodness, you really do live in Cuckoo Land There was a huge gap of 7 years between Mrs Thatcher been booted out and Blair becoming Prime Minister plus a recession. The Thatcher / Major years became known as the "Boom & Bust Years", hence Blairs phrase "no more boom and bust". No Prime Minister in history created as much industrial destruction and industrial wastelands than Margaret Thatcher. The Blair government promised to stick to Majors fiscal rules, which he did, he then made Billions out of auctioning off the radio spectrum and from revenue from sustainable growth. The money was invested in public services. 1997 - 2007 was the last time that things were good in this country, along came the world wide banking crisis and recession, followed by the coalition government, and things have been bleak ever since.

Thatcher was moving with the times and helped recover the country from the third world status that existed in the 70s. Blair didn't do a thing other than spend money, lick IRA backside, engage in questionable wars, balkanised the union and flooded the country with mass-immigration from shit holes, which led to kids being raped and blown up in terrorist attacks, and the introduction of draconian law to silent dissent.
Clearly that's your ideal PM, and that's why I think you were obviously on drugs at the time. Still, I'm glad you're not doubting me over the NHS. Damn, I was young at the time and remember the contract work the NHS was dependent on. For some reason they outed the Trust and relied on more expensive and more incompetent workers. The idiots.

Ironically, one of the worst "boom and busts" in history happened under New Labour lol. I voted for Blair three times, I liked most of what they did and he was surrounded by competent people. Let's not re-write history though, a large part of "the good times" was just a massive spike in retail spending funded by consumer debt: What New Labour taught me is that we need a grown up conversation about the level of public services we want, and how we are going to fund them. We as a nation just seem incapable of having this conversation. It has been obvious for many decades that we are living way beyond our means, yet nobody wants to tackle it.
