The streets around Stamford Hill will be busier than usual as residents and visitors celebrate from Saturday 23 March until Monday evening [25 March].
We encourage everyone to think about their safety and be considerate of others.

Purim is celebrated among Jews by: Exchanging gifts of food and drink, known as "mishloach manot". Donating charity to the poor, known as "mattanot la-evyonim". Eating a celebratory meal, known as "se'udat Purim".
Hackney will also have its Carnival again this year — it's good to see Hackney Council helping to get the borough together after the upheaval caused by the ex-Mayor lying about his association with a disgraced councillor...
