www.mirror.co.uk/money/first-time-buyers-find-out-32345933A couple had their dreams dashed when they found out that their newly-purchased house, which was meant to be a momentous milestone in their life, was worth nothing. Chris and Steph Oliver are now living in an "unsellable" new-build home because of a problem with the building that surveyors didn't warn them about. They became the proud owners of a three-bedroom property after paying £130,000, thanks to the Government's former Help to Buy scheme. And... www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/couples-320k-new-build-home-32265955Diane Jackson, 61, and partner Mark, 59, bought the £320k four-bed near Darwen, Lancashire, after selling their old property to their daughter. They were looking forward to the next stage of their lives - but have faced nothing but issues instead, they claim. The pair say they have discovered damp and mould alongside the insects and, as it stands, the home is unliveable.

It's a brand new house, the NHBC guarantee seems to be sorting it out.

Anyone that buys a new house wants their head testing . Since 2004 they have been built by unqualified Eastern Europeans . With the best will in the world they are not going to be well built homes .
