So they were told they would have to repay the furlough money they haven’t,the chief exec would have to go,he’s still in place..
They got rid of the Brit crew and employed foreign crew on around £5 per hour,a disgrace to P&O and the govt for not acting when they said it they would.
Boycott P&O

According to the News tonight the Government are putting place Legislation that will force P&O to pay the UK rate of minimum pay They do not have the jurisdiction in international waters. I guess they could make life hard for them but that might cause them to piss off and take their business to a better country. After all, relocation is hardly a problem if you works premises float.

Indeed it is a lucrative route and has been for years, P&Q state they comply with International and EU Laws on pay and conditions, however as and when the UK Government put in place Legislation P&Q when in UK waters will mean they will have to comply and pay the UK minimum wage rate to their ferry staff, if I understand it correctly.

It's not just the low pay which is an issue. They work 12 hour shifts 7 days a week and are not allowed any days off during their contracts.
Basically it's slavery.
The government said it was going to act 2 years ago. It hasn't.
