But the sheeple will vote for it and the left will try to pretend that their shit doesn't stink. They spent more Parliamentary time hours and hours discussing banning Fox Hunting with Dogs than going to War with Saddam good to see they had their priorities right , Err sorry left, I can't remember ever seeing a Fox Hunt Galloping down Upper Street in Islington And yet some idiots on here have the cheek to talk about identity politics and societal division as if they were somehow the fault of the right.

Hate crimes are an aggravating factors to an existing criminal offence. There is no criminal offence of misgendering. Without being led down an irrelevant pedantic path — there is guidance on Gender Recognition Act 2004 and Hate Crime in my link, and also on Appropriate Language, which, although the term "misgendering" isn't used for the act, they detail circumstances where the wishes of the individuals concerned should count... Still not crimes though.

Another one more generally is they have to prove harm. No harm should = no crime.

Not really. Just claim a case of mistaken identity. (I thought you were so and so.) The two have apparently been sparring for a while, so they would know each other...
The news comes after Willoughby's years-long social media feud with Rowling, who has repeatedly misgendered Willoughby and who the author says has "definitely committed a crime."

Ah, so this Willoughby person is a male that identifies as a female and is enraged that others don't share his delusion.
Right.
It does make me wonder how any "Misgendering" law might be framed, however. I mean calling a man a man is simply a statement of fact. I wonder if it would only apply to those who have legally changed gender? Otherwise, any of us could identify how we liked on any given day and presumably prosecute anyone who mistook us for something else.
Still, I suppose it'll give the police something to do while they're ignoring real crime.

Facts should always trump feelings.
I have done some counselling and the psychologist told me not to rely on my feelings as they can be unreliable. It's true, too.
Now they think that a person "feeling" that they belong to the opposite sex needs to be relied upon? I don't think so.

The Forstater case made clear that gender critical views are protected. There is no crime of refusing to believe that a man can become a woman.

We need more people to stand up to this nonsense whereby anyone can identify as anything. I mean a while back there was something where some kid had identified as a cat. I mean Jesus wept.

Claiming to be a cat , a man claiming to be a woman . One is as delusional as the other . If there was a Jesus then he would have wept at some point .

Back in the late 80s there was a man in Haverfordwest in Wales who insisted he was a woman. He always wore women's clothing. He had a very deep male voice and a large black beard.

I don't believe he even wept when he found out about Judas.
