I think that's the wrong thread? 🤷🏻 Nope...He was a Labour MP for Tooting then. That's why I hilighted it in bold.

What is the connection to tax payers paying out for Michelle Donelan's error? We thought your thread was moralising us on MPs and politicians honesty and integrity, which we know Khan has either, so yes it's appropriate to post about him on this thread.

It wasn't really about honesty, but it was about integrity. She made an allegation without checking which turned out to be untrue and cost the tax payers money. You haven't commented on it.
There isn't any allegation that Khan did anything wrong in the article that Jonksy shared, it was just a poor attempt at whataboutery.

You never stated in your OP this was just an anti Tory MP's.

What is the connection to tax payers paying out for Michelle Donelan's error? As far as I can make out the connection would be that a government department advised Donelan that what she was about to tweet was fact . The claim was against Donelan and had she lost she could then have claimed against the government , it would have just got messy so the government stepped in and settled .

Indeed, she would have lost, because she was wrong. One wonders what the legal advice was that she had in the first place.

Penny Mordaunt backs Michelle Donelan after taxpayers foot Hamas damages claim.....
Penny Mordaunt has given her backing to Michelle Donelan, insisting the Science Secretary values public money following the revelation that public cash was used to pay damages on her behalf.
Taxpayers paid £15,000 to cover damages handed to an academic which Ms Donelan had falsely accused of supporting Hamas.

I'm confused now, was it a bung or a donation? That's not a curveball, this is your allegation. And I'm still unsure of the relevance to the thread topic?

That's not a curveball, this is your allegation. And I'm still unsure of the relevance to the thread topic? How do we know the money never ended up in khans own pocket. His record isn't a shining example is it... It states in the link from our pro left media that as far as they knew khan was not aware of the circumstances at the time the donation was made. Khan like all the rest of the lefty arseholes is nothing more than a blatant liar so why should we take his word as gospel?

So, to summarise, you made it up then.
Thanks for your useful contribution. Now do you want to talk about Michelle Donelan, as you quoted an article but didn't actually offer an opinion, so I'm not actually sure what you think.
