He's a politician and reputation is his trade. I don't support lies. Corbyn was far more popular than Farage and kiddy Farage is jealous. Corbyn is a politician true, but Farage isn't, which was probably a relief as gets to ponder over things a lot more. On several occasions he has point blank refused to get drawn back in. I think you might be on dodgy ground somewhat, as the Chinese have never been known to lie, have they? Becoming the leader of the opposition and an MP is an achievement, whatever you may think of his policies. Farage has never even made it to the House of Commons, despite humongous press coverage on his every fart he makes. You would guess someone with an ego the size of his, he could easily create a blunder like this. I know with Corbyn he was taking some big legal action agaisnt his unfair removal. He's a pissed off man, as he faced the deep state and all its little shits that support it. The main bone of contention was if he became PM he may well have withdrawn from Nato. The US could not allow this to happen. Once you get the hang of how law works and you win, I suppose that emboldens you somewhat. Never piss off a litigious person with money.

Nothing for you does not mean nothing for the guy affected by Farage bullshit. And how exactly has Corbyn been affected, given that anyone with any sense already thinks he's a loon? We'll get the number in pounds sterling at some point. It will be sub judice until then. I don't know.

Interesting... ..." Jeremy Corbyn says he is to take legal action against Nigel Farage over a statement made on his GB News show. During a segment of his show on 28 February, Mr Farage accused the former Labour leader of subscribing to an antisemitic conspiracy theory" - linkShould be fun. Tbh given the things Corbyn has been called and accused of over the decades ref his links to terrorists and terrorist organisations, I'm rather surprised he's come over all offended by this.

It's the principle of the matter. You should not lie about someone. It is low down and dirty.

I believe defamation is concerned with reputational damage. Does Corbyn have one to damage?

I believe defamation is concerned with reputational damage. Does Corbyn have one to damage? Of course he does. He was elected leader of the official opposition. He got removed by the CIA.
The thing is I do not agree with Corbyn's policies at all, but if you are going to call your country a democracy you must let the people decide, and not allow bastards like Farage to shit on you. Win on the merits of your policies. Farage is a very empty-headed man when it comes to solutions. His solutions all revolve around destroying something or other, but if we elected him into power he would destroy everything and create nothing. A lot of populists are like this. They only gain popularity by spreading hatred of others because they themselves are totally vacuous. Actually after listening to 8m of Galloway i came to the precise same conclusion. Zero on policy, 100% destroy everything and everyone else. History is full of people like that.

Aww, Corbyn and his mates are quick to smear everyone else with racism and Islamophobia, but then throws a wobbly when somebody tells the truth about him. Typical far-left lying hypocrite posh boy.

Yes I agree, but I sense there may be something else going on. Looking at the things Corbyn has been called and accused of in the past, this seems so trivial. Maybe, for whatever reason, this is has more to do with Corbyn getting his name back into the consciousness of the media. I believe he wants to replace Khan as mayor of London, and Galloway has called for his return. Who knows what's going on behind the scenes.

I share you pessimism, sadly.
