The runners are:
1. Azhar Ali, Labour Party (On the ballot paper)
2. Mark Coleman, Independent
3. Simon Danczuk, Reform UK
4. Iain Donaldson, Liberal Democrats
5. Paul Ellison, The Conservative Party Candidate
6. George Galloway, Workers Party of Britain
7. Michael Howarth, Independent
8. William Howarth, Independent
9. Guy Otten, Green Party
10. Ravin Subortna, The Official Monster Raving Loony Party
11. David Tully, Independent
I'm not generally a betting man, but I reckon it's a two horse race between Azhar Ali and Simon Danczuk.

Apparently it's been a really dirty campaign. I just watched some footage of Azhar Ali in a restaurant in Rochdale, the man is a thug. I cant believe he may be voted into parliament. But this is what you get with aggressive minorities, particularly in Muslim areas. Let me tell you something posters, we are the biggest mugs on the face of the planet. In an effort to appease and appear to be polite, we have sacrificed this country.

Unless they elect Galloway of course who seems the best bet of the likely candidates .Never thought Id say that

Apparently Galloway has been accused of hiring thugs to intimidate opponents, who knows. Like I said, it's been a dirty campaign.

The Electoral Commission have to get a grip of this it's ridiculous. A few years ago a judge when describing Muslim constituencies criticised the postal voting system as something reminiscent of a banana republic. And it would appear, so far anyway, that Galloway who's campaign was firmly pro Muslim, is doing very well, thanks to postal votes.
I'm not kidding, unless you're disabled and cant get to a polling station, postal voting should be banned and voter ID should be enforced. There's too much voter corruption in Muslim constituencies, and I feel comfortable saying that because it's all in the public domain.

Turnout is 40% (39.7) which is higher than expected. Galloway has won, unofficial as yet.
23,000 postal votes, in a richly diverse Muslim enclave. We need to wake the fuck up.
Just been reported that the postal vote was up by 70%. Naturally, the official response will be that it's racist to criticise. God almighty, will someone in government wake up.

George is just one of many lose cannons gobbing off from somewhere or other and he probably won't last beyond the next general election.

Of course he wont last beyond the election no one expects him to. But in the run up to the election he will prove to be a huge problem for Starmer.

Starmer is warned his Gaza problems just 'got 100 times more serious' after pro-Palestinian firebrand George Galloway storms home in Rochdale by-election - sparking fears about wider meltdown in Labour's muslim support.....
The pro-Palestinian firebrand emerged victorious in the normally-safe Labour seat after one of the most divisive and chaotic contests in recent history.
And he immediately vowed to use the platform to torment Sir Keir over his stance towards Israel in the wake of the October 7 terror attacks by Hamas.

If the Workers Party of Britain do put up around 30 candidates at the next election as Galloway suggests then it could become a headache for Starmer.

An independent came second and George had orange confetti thrown on him as he was declared a climate change denier and Danczuk came sixth. link
