Sir flip flop states the labour shower of shit would run a ‘patriotic economy’.......I wonder how much it will cost the tax payers for his security on his little jaunt?
Labour would run ‘patriotic economy’, Starmer to say on West Midlands visit......
Starmer will talk up Labour’s housing pledges on a visit to the West Midlands, promising it would deliver a “future built in Britain, by Britain, for Britain” if it wins power.
The party leader is expected to say he would run a “patriotic economy” including through plans to boost homeownership and establish the “next generation” of new towns....
All he is saying is that a Labour government would be "for the many, not the few", i.e. everything will no longer just be aimed at making the rich richer.

The problem is the Tories look like an even worse pile of shit. Democracy is broken, genuine change not on offer, just different shades of the same shit. It is as if when we are crying out for a bucket of food, the only choice on offer is between a bucket of puke or a bucket of shit. In all likelihood next time more people will see no point in voting at all than voting for any particular party.

You have voted Tory yourself in recent years and are so far to the right you seem to believe I am a communist. And even the Squeezed Middle would not be so idiotic as to regard me a communist. lol

Talk is cheap and he is a proven liar. And you are provenly deluded in your devotion. That someone who once voted Tory is acting as his propaganda wing on this forum, itself confirms that he is highly unlikely to be for anyone but himself and the affluent metropolitan liberals he represents.

I've yet to see Starmer be vigorous about anything, but there might be a first time. John Major proved that even a grey and boring man can win an election. However he was basically an honest man which Starmer demonstrably is not. All Starmer has going for him is the fact that he is not leading the Tory party, the latter party being so derided now in the public mind that Starmer will probably win on the basis of an anti-Tory vote. But support for Labour in office will rapidly fade away if they do not deliver for the millions.

Interesting comment, especially when you consider that no one beats the Tory Party when it comes to selling Britain to the foreigners. Huge chunks of our Water Industry owned by companies in countries where water is state owned, foreigners actually making money out of one of lifes essential to life resources. Our train companies, our bus operators which were privatized under Thatcher, owned by companies in Spain, France and Germany. Our electricity and energy suppliers, all privatized, large parts of which are owned by foreign companies, and now the slow creep of privatization is within our NHS, and again foreign companies eagerly awaiting to cherry pick the profitable bits. The Labour Party, if elected, will give us The Great British Energy Company, owned by the British people, and will hopefully allow state owned Train Operaters to compete in the tendering process to operate services. Turning the tide, taking back control for Britain. Well that's an optimistic view. lol

Reminds me of Blair and George W Bush, lol What struck me was that Bush asked Blair to join with the US war in Iraq and Blair did it without a second thought. LBJ asked Wilson to join with the US war in Vietnam and Wilson told him to fuck off.. How Labour have changed over the years..
