It is clear there are criminals in all professions, even the ones that are supposed to care for us.
One of our most prolific murderers was a Doctor, Harold Shipman.
Another baby murderer, Lucy Letby should have been nurturing those thirteen babies, seven of whom died.
Police, who should uphold the law, are not immune to criminality, but it is extra shocking when they are convicted of serious offences.

But I think its got worse among the Police in recent years - in the past it was run of the mill corruption, but now its all sorts of violent offences. Perhaps the recruitment criteria need to change - less concentration on hitting various diversity targets and more on just recruiting the correct people irrespective of who they are. |

The quality of police officers has gone down in recent years
Reason: David Cameron and Theressa May cut 20,000 serving officers between them, along comes Boris Johnson and decides to recruit 20,000 new police officers. Forces across England have lost 20,000 mostly older, mostly very experienced officers.
Most of the 20,000 new boys are exactly that - boys, with no experince.
What kind of governing party first of all gets rid of 20,000 officers, and then recruits 20,000 officers ?
Its a bit like The Grand Old Duke Of York, who marched them to the top of the hill, then marched them down again.
