By the year 2036, Britain’s population will have grown by another 6.6 million people. In just fifteen short years the population will surge by 10 per cent, rising from 67 million people to nearly 74 million. And of the additional 6.6 million people in the country —another 6.6 million people using the NHS, the GPs, the schools, the roads, and looking for a house to buy or rent— some 6.1 million will be here because of immigration. Things are going to get much worse - so my advice to any youngster today would to be to arm yourself with a skill and emigrate.

"some 6.1 million will be here because of immigration."
Since the white British population is in long-term decline the blue bit 'Net Births' is because of immigration too.

Yet again, what is probably the single most important challenge (and political question) confronting the UK fails to gain any traction with the membership.
Ah well.

I suspect the prospect is so bleak , posters are avoiding the thread.

I dread to think what the future holds for this country, but you don't need to be a visionary to see it's not good.
Thanks to the EU we are being invaded by criminals from the rest of the world yet for some inexplicable reason the government refuse to stop it. We have a chronic housing shortage yet illegals are fast tracked to the front of the housing queue. People are on NHS waiting lists for years not months and in many parts of the country NHS dentists are as rare as hens teeth. Schools are oversubscribed teachers struggle with pupils who don't understand English and we have never had so many foreign criminals in British prisons.
In spite of this and more, every year the government continue to welcome c700,000 no skilled, or at best low skilled migrants into this country, and of course hundreds of thousands of foreign criminals are escorted across the channel by Border Farce cutters and the RNLI, all of which is having a dramatic negative effect on this country. In many richly diverse and multicultural areas crime has never been higher and public confidence in the woke police farce has never been lower, and lets not forget diversity quotas mean the best applicant no longer gets the job, thanks to woke progressives it is now racist to promote a meritocratic society.
Unless politicians get a serious grip on the situation now, which isn't going to happen, the future for this country is bleak. We will become just another multicultural crime ridden shit tip governed by minorities, and by that time it will be too late for progressives to say sorry.

In WW2 some wag stated that it was only the barrage baloons that held the UK above water under the weight of the Americans....Is this also going to be the future look for the UK?

But then a goodly proportion of the membership are actively in favour. And it looks as if the sheeple are about to elect a government that is actively in favour.

It's probable that many local women found themselves under the weight of US servicemen — between 1942 and 1945, US soldiers fathered more than 22,000 children in Britain.
It's gratifying to see that Black American servicemen kept their end up — during the Second World War it is estimated that approximately 2,000 babies were born to Black American servicemen and white British women, when only 8% of US GIs in the UK were Black...

It doesn't seem to make any difference which party is in power. Every government elected since the war has presided over an increase in the number of foreigners despite most of them promising to do the opposite.

I don't think any party has been elected with 'increasing immigration' as a manifesto pledge.
In fact, I'm pretty sure no political party (winning or loosing) has even put this in a manifesto (perhaps the communist party?)
They know what they are doing - it's not remotely an accident

Just a few observations really. Are we a Chrisitian country anymore, because the move towards secularism, agnosticism and atheism has watered down the idea that Britain is Christian. When the Queen died we moved from the defender of the Christian faith, to Charles III who famously claimed to be defender of faiths. Which is, of course, very much NOT the same. In fact he seems to favour a multi-faith approach as evidenced by the Coronation service. There is a problem in that certain religions are just not compatible with others, and although there is currently a type of peace between them at present, as the balance of numbers change we could have more confrontations between different religions.
Famously, we had a TV sitcom years ago called "2.4 children" which was based on the average size of a family in Britain. Women had an average of 2.4 children at the time, but they now have 1.6. This figure does vary between ethnic groups and the white indigenous British are at the lowest end of those birth figures. As a country, we have changed the child allowance so that there is little encouragement from the government to grow our own population. In my opinion, that decision was wrong and we should reward parents who want to have a decent size family with support.
There are currently 10 million working age people in this country, who for various reasons, choose not to work. As a result we are needing immigration to fill jobs that Brits are unwilling to do.
I'm not sure there is a quick solution to this, but the incentive to work needs to be much stronger. Are we paying people too much in benefits?
I do agree that is something is not done, by the time I am 100 years old most of Britain will be like London and Birmingham, where we can see how demographic change has become very visible.

I'm not sure there is a quick solution to this, but the incentive to work needs to be much stronger. Are we paying people too much in benefits? Before the Covid fiasco, many people were working happily on fairly low wages but they had the suspicion that they might be better off on welfare. After all the Covid lockdowns and furloughs many realised that they would be far better off on welfare and benefits and decided they had no intention of working again. This is the reality of mass immigration to keep wages low.

It's a vicious cycle. A similar vicious cycle likely exists with birth rates, over-crowding and immigration.

I watched a programme on the TV that claimed skilled builders are dying out . iirc the average was around 50. One builder said that the quality of new builds are falling because everybody including the cowboys were getting work. We need a nationwide investment in vocational training . Colleges and apprenticeships.
