Cambridge wokerati are having attacks of the vapours about statements made by Nathan Cofnas, a fellow in the Department of Philosophy.
Referring to Harvard University, and in the wake of the ousting of its first and only black president, Cofnas has claimed that the number of black academics there would fall to almost zero if it were a true meritocracy.
"“In a meritocracy, Harvard faculty would be recruited from the best of the best students, which means the number of black professors would approach zero per cent.”
More generally, Cofnas said that, without imposed diversity in recruiting, that black people “would disappear from almost all high-profile positions outside of sports and entertainment”.
Also:
"Professor Angela Breitenbach, chair of the faculty of philosophy, said: “The views expressed in these blogs do not represent the views of the faculty of philosophy. The faculty strives to be a leader in defending equality and fostering inclusion. There is no place for racism at the University of Cambridge.”
But is he right?

One would have to assume that Cofnas is correct, he would be leaving himself open to scathing ridicule if he did not have the necessary info/stats to back up what he says. But it doesn't really matter does it, regardless of any information he may have to support his claims, he will obviously be ridiculed and criticised by pampered lefties who will as ever shout racist, the word of our epoch.
On the broader point of diversity quotas, everyone with an IQ in double figures knows perfectly well that imposed diversity quotas are a race to the bottom. If we lived in a true meritocracy then black people would obviously disappear from high profile positions. This is hardly a secret, is it?

Yeah have seen things like this before,the studies are based on brain size with sub Saharan’s the smaller and lower IQ..
If this is all correct the top people would in fact not be white either but people from east Asia .

We know that there are some very intelligent black people . It’s not as if there is a clear distinction .
I think the continuous background narrative that blacks are oppressed and white people are privileged poisons everyone and everything exposed to it .

If this is all correct the top people would in fact not be white either but people from east Asia . East Asians are better friends of the Brits than their South Asian neighbours or the Africans. The thing is they are at the other extreme of intelligence. They could come here and displace the South Asians and Africans.
It seems that it is the stupid people these brainwashed British women like. I think that is part of the feminist mentality, that they are attracted to stupid men because it reinforces their prejudices and they can dominate them. |

I think the continuous background narrative that blacks are oppressed and white people are privileged poisons everyone and everything exposed to it . The problem is there are not that many in comparison to their representation in the general population (13%), so places like Harvard have to resort to other measures e.g. affirmative action to get the numbers up to where it's politically desirable for them to be.
It's usually considered that an IQ of at least 115 is needed to compete successfully at a highly competitive school such as Harvard.
