It's just an observation that every time a Labour leader has gone campaigning with Eddie Izzard plastered in makeup support has fallen and working class people look and think, what on earth? Izzard is a very influential voice in the party, a big activist and completely oblivious to how absurd he looks. Many a young lefty in the party sees transphobia and other phobias as being more important issues than jobs and redevelopment of industrial heartlands. They are a London centric bunch of metropolitan elitists with absolutely nothing in common with the mostly white mostly straight working class. When people like yourself can get beyond that which appears obvious to themselves and begin to realize that they do not have a full understanding of the human condition, and its so obvious absence of perfection, then real understanding might begin to enter their minds. In the meantime that nasty problem that inflicts so much damage on humanity, namely 'fixed opinions' will continue rule the dictator type of minds. |

This trans thing seems to have come out of nowhere in the last few years and the whole "Trans agenda" is just another example of divisive left-wing identity politics. And as such, suddenly "Transphobia" is supposedly everywhere. Whereas in reality trans issues affect a tiny minority with the rest of us not giving a shit. Well, until we get accused of being "Transphobes" for not joining in the hysteria that is. |

It's smaller than a woman's dick. The simple fact is that if Labour chase that vote in order to be "inclusive", it won't go well for them in an election. After all, women do not have penises. Ramming trans stuff at the nation could backfire spectacularly. Pandering to the trans lobby is actually a negative in terms of getting elected - for every person that thinks it's great, there's probably several thousand who think it's lunacy.
Of course, I think that Labour should absolutely stand on a trans platform and show everyone what they actually believe in.
The problem is, Labour won't come completely out the closet until they're elected in. Then, we'll get all the agenda-bender policies on full turbo for the alphabet people once they are in. That's my bet. In fact, once in Labour will platform many of their policies based on Identity politics, that seems to be their core business these days. |
