So why no one at home? This is a three star hotel and business conference centre with spa facilities.

Bloody hell I know the Hatherton it's not far away, we went to a function there a few years ago. It used to be a decent place, always full at the weekends. I had no idea it was derelict, or in that state of disrepair. Apparently it's going to be turned into a flats.

It's rated at 2/5 and someone has taken loads of pictures of all the blemishes around their hotel room. It looks like the last owners ran it into the ground a bit. Another set of pictures taken earlier on another site shows it looking pretty tidy and clean. I can see why they would have used it for migrants. The sad thing is that hotels are one of those things we used to have for holidays and time off work where we get out and about. I think since covid no one has had the money to splash out and the hotel trade just can't charge as much as they once did. Eventually everyone will be living in flats except government crooks.

Over the years it's been rated 2,3 and 4*. I seem to remember it was OK, actually I've just checked with Mrs R and it's longer that I thought since we visited the Hatherton, we've been at this property eleven years and Mrs R reckons it was before we moved here. I didn't think it was that long ago but there you go.

That’s women for you Red encyclopaedic minds about what happened when which is why you wonder what the hell they’re on about when they bring up something you did (wrong) years ago.

Reminds me of that old joke... Husband to encyclopaedia salesman - Why do I need an encyclopaedia? My wife knows everything.

What sort of sad bastard spends his time spying on his neighbours ? What is his next trick ? Hanging round public toilets and the kiddies playgrounds ?

Borchester... at the risk of being Captain obvious, what are you talking about? I am talking about the sort of arsehole who spies on their neighbours and then brags about it on Youtube.
That may be the done thing in your part of the world Red, but in my part of the country folk like that tend to walk into doors and fall down steps

What on earth are you talking about? Borchester, I think you're older than me and I respect older people so I'm going to back off.
