As always with incidents of this sort, it is far better to wait for facts to come out. If you don't you repeatedly make yourself look a fool. As it stands the most likely scenario here is that this was a dreadful domestic incident - nothing to do with race (whatever the colour of skin of those involved), nothing to do with multiculturalism, nothing to do with the London Mayor, nothing to do with London's strengths and weaknesses. I have said this to you before, Red. Your prejudices have become paranoia and you are being, perhaps have been, consumed. Please go and get some help. Thank you for your reasoned assessment, Dappy. Seems that way Black although with the seeming Yazidi connection, I sadly wouldn't rule out an "honour" family motive element to the motivation.

If this man is indeed Yazidi, I would have thought there is every chance that he is a refugee here.
While a domestic issue or sadly a “honour” issue still look most likely, the severe facial injury, the violence to the child and the fact that the police say they don’t know the motive for the attack don’t seem to fit that explanation. I imagine we will know more in the next few days.
