I was watching a video on the mind and amazingly it said that some people think without using words, i cant imagine that. I think in words, pictures, and feelings, who does not? I cant expand on tthe video as it didnt explore that.

Stories?
I'm not sure much of my thinking is in actual words.
If i have to remember a partial result i may use a set of words as an aid and if i am constructing a sentence, obviously, but most my thinking is 'in' something i can't describe
I come to conclusions and then have to 'translate' my reasons into English (or do my best)

I definitely visualise everything mentally. It is so strong, that if I'm planning a carpentry job or something similar complex in my head, it's best not to do it when driving along in the car.

Crikey. I think in words most of the time, pictures are more pre conscious or subconcious. I have a voice in my head all of the time, it never stops talking, thankfully i control it. I can make myself roar in laughter if i want to, something can trigger a thought and a picture.
I have tested it on others, no one finds my humour funny, i have burst out laughing in a cinema, while no one else does. If i think about something seriously many things come up, if i concentrate, there are many avenues, uncoiuntable really. My lead function is intuition, it is always reading the future, off grid stuff.

Regarding the voice in my head, I have that when reading your post, but it is my voice, and the same when typing. Everything I read becomes a sound in my head, there is no other way I can read and I have to read every word. I don't think this is actually an advantage. Doesn't everyone hear the words in their heads when reading?

I think in naked women semaphore. I am still not yet too old not to occasionally think in terms of naked women every now and again, lol But seriously, I tend to think in both words and images. I tend to think in words when I am imagining conversations or trying to figure out what to say in certain situations, or imagine what others might say or think. But when it comes to actions I tend to think in images. I had always tended to assume it was the same for everyone, but perhaps not.

I think in code, where everything is stored in a box, by shortening it to code it is much smaller but easier to store, while it is much easier to reference. Also I only code important information as in meaningful, the rest gets binned.

Re reading - I think that's normal. It's a symptom of how most people learn to read. I believe it is possible to train yourself not to internally vovcalise and increase your reading speed somewhat

They are always a bit blurry ( athough I remember faces ). If I imagine say a dog then the image is like looking at a dog through a smoked glass . However I have a constant internal dialogue. When I’m under extreme stress it’s like two different people talking . I have said to myself( internally )“ How the f@ck did you do that “ and replied to myself( internally ) “ I’m in trouble here “ Like you , I thought everyone was like that .

At 66 i have been using envisaged scantily clad women as a meditation technique to reduce the need for local anaesthesia for four decades… But when visualising a problem, i do exactly that. Visualise it. On several occasions people explaining complex problems notice i seem to doze off. I don't. I’m just building the images in my head. I used to be exceptional at visualising images like chemicals, proteins, ncleic acids etc. maybe thats where it all started. But these days i can assemble a mind map of almost anything mentally

I was always told by coaches in the sporting world ,didn't really matter what sport to visualise the shot . So you think about what you are about to do just before you do it . The theory is your muscles get a heads up of what's expected of them .
The pro's do it all the time ,us mere mortals tend to forget

Words often suppress inconvenient thoughts. Inconvenient thoughts are only a problem if they escape your mouth in the form of words before your brain has time to race downstairs and stop them.
