Starmer was accused of 'relentlessly politicising' British life yesterday, as he pledged to defend organisations that go woke.
The Labour leader said the Government was engaging in a 'kind of weird McCarthyism' by trying to root out 'woke agendas' at major institutions.
Sir Keir claimed it was now Labour that was on the side of groups such as the National Trust, which has been criticised by some Conservatives for re-writing history and playing up links between Sir Winston Churchill's former home and the slave trade.
But Tory MPs yesterday said it was Labour that was waging a 'culture war' on British traditions. And hours later, a member of Sir Keir's Shadow Cabinet appeared to underline their warning when she endorsed the teaching of controversial 'white privilege' theories to children.
The horses arse labour culture spokesman Thangam Debbonaire yesterday said encouraging pupils to be questioning 'is a good idea'

The problem is that 'questioning things' is only allowed on those things that are allowed to be questioned. They are not allowed to ask, is white privilege a load of guff, is multiculturalism good, is diversity our strength, is AGW real. Not unless of course the answers are No, yes, yes and yes. The whole point of education as I recall was to raise enquiring minds over all things not just those things to which they are directed to enquire. |

The whole point of education as I recall was to raise enquiring minds over all things not just those things to which they are directed to enquire. Obviously Starmer is pretending to be a champion of woke in order to gain votes, and in London he may well be going to enjoy success, however throughout the rest of the country his comments will have caused a massive groan. Woke is rubbish, all right thinking people know that and the more bilge Sir Kneel Alot comes out with the more he will turn the electorate off, I hope we hear more of it.
Is it me or have other people noticed that as soon as the box tickers put a women in charge it all turns to rat shit, the Post Office, Nat West, National Trust the list is endless, the is a lesson there somewhere, but I doubt if it will be learnt.
