Tynside the Crime Capital.of England I's full.of Rapist.
A total of 11 officers were subsequently dismissed following investigations and three were ultimately prosecuted. The force handed over these statistics at the request of North Tyneside Council’s ‘Community Independent Group’ and they were told to councillors at Thursday’s full council.

Alongside its coastal walking routes and the broad vistas of Hunt Cliff, it’s clear why the region is a popular choice for holidaymakers and homeowners alike. However, the shocking truth is that Cleveland is the most dangerous area in England and Wales. With a crime rate of 143.4 crimes per 1000 residents, it’s more than 10 points higher than the next most dangerous, and that’s not to set to change any time soon, especially as the last year saw a further 16% rise on that rate. The key issues for Cleveland stem from high figures in violent crime (30,509 offences), theft (22,738 offences) and criminal damage (10,706 offences), each of which have seen rises of at least 12% over last year’s figures. Cleveland’s lower population, coupled with its astronomically high rates of crime, are ultimately what earns it the undesirable top spot on our list of the most dangerous regions across England and Wales. This comprehensive report uses the latest data available from the Office of National Statistics, which collates data from police forces across the whole of England and Wales. These are all independently reported, meaning the data is as transparent and clear as possible. We’ll then display this as a ratio of crimes per 1000 people living in the area. This allows us to account for a variety of influential factors, such as the size of the area, and the region’s population. What Is The Overall Crime Rate Across England & Wales? With the total number of crimes across the two countries landing at 5,427,624 offences over the course of the last year, it’ll come as no surprise that England & Wales have a crime rate that’s seen some fluctuation in recent times. An overall crime rate of 93.8 crimes per 1000 residents when compared to the overall population illustrates just how prevalent crime is across the two constituent countries of the UK, with that ratio equating to almost 1 in 10 people experiencing crime in the last year. Over the course of 2022, the vast majority of crime types saw at least a 5% increase over the figures for 2021, with the only notable exception being homicide, which saw a marked decrease of 5% when compared to previous years. However, the region’s soaring crime rate of 97.8 crimes per 1000 residents is a clear cause for concern, especially as it’s 4 points higher than the national average, and has seen an 8% increase over last year’s statistics. It is evident from last year's outcomes that a substantial amount of work remains to be done to tackle rural crime, working hand in hand with communities to mitigate its impact and resolve the crime issues that beset rural areas. As an advocate for rural Britain, the Countryside Alliance will continue to exert pressure on the government, Police and Crime Commissioners, and police forces to review their approach to combating rural crime and its root causes. This underlines the vital importance of your participation in our 2023 annual Rural Crime Survey, which will inform our crime campaigns and ensure that your voice resonates within the corridors of power. A "deeply hidden and disturbing side to rural life" has been laid bare by an 18-month inquiry into domestic abuse in the English countryside. Domestic abuse victims there suffer for longer, are less likely to report abuse and struggle to get support, it said. Victims are isolated, unsupported and unprotected in a "rural hell" that protects the perpetrators, the National Rural Crime Network report found. The government has just set out new plans to tackle the issue. The researchers carried out 67 in-depth interviews with people who had experienced domestic abuse, and a set of separate interviews with those working in services supporting victims. 'Hidden underbelly' The inquiry also included a review of academic literature and a survey of a separate group of 881 abuse survivors, recruited for the research with the help of support services. It sought to discover how the experience of domestic abuse in rural areas and getting help for it is different from urban areas and why. National Rural Crime Network chairwoman Julia Mulligan described domestic abuse as "the hidden underbelly of rural communities". "We have uncovered a deeply hidden and disturbing side to rural life. "Far from the peaceful idyll most people have in their mind when conjuring up the countryside, this report bares the souls and scars of domestic abuse victims, who all too often are lost to support, policing and criminal justice services," she said. Rural victims were half as likely to report their abuse to others, and experienced abuse for 25% longer, the report found. And rural isolation is often used as a weapon by abusers, it said. "Physical isolation is arguably the best weapon an abuser has and has a profound impact on making the victim feel quite literally captive," the report said. .

isn't tyneside labour ? at council level and constituency ? doesn't send much confidence to us at the thought of labour winning the next general election if their local councils and constituencies are that bad with crime. Don't know how it Compares to Glasgow on crime especially Seeing That Glasgow has such a Class A Drug problem. And Alcohol problem it must be a pretty Awful place to live. under the Labour Party , Glasgow for example was the knife crime capital of the western world , with more stabbing shootings and murders in some years than places like Northern Ireland , or some African cities. We spent years kicking out labour , and tidying our city , and country up. Guess what? The crime drastically improved , and now London under a labour mayor is probably the uk knife capital. Glasgow does have drug problems and alcohol. That coincides with things like poverty , as Ripley pointed out the world over. However , many of the drug and alcohol problems are a hangover from the days when labour were in power. I point this out time and again , in places like Glasgow , or tyneside , why is it the places labour have power , always end up as shitholes? Does crime , poverty , addiction come first , or does labour get in and run places down? Im convinced it's the latter. it's like the chicken and egg scenario. It takes many years for an area to recover from labours mismanagement , but you can get there. Glasgow is massively improving , there are things wrong , generational problems of labours epic mismanagement , but massive improvements since they were booted out. Perhaps we need to go down and chat with our Geordie pals , and show them the way . If you look at the poorest , most run down and crime ridden areas in the uk today , they are all long term labour supporting areas. Clearly voting labour doesn't work.

Of course not what I'm saying is that Domestic violence is hidden In Tory controlled areas Because there less likely to Report it? Aren't the one who always says crime has gone up. Because it's not Reported . A great many crimes in rural areas are carried out by those from the towns and cities like sheep rustling tractor and farm equipment theft, animals killed and maimed for no aparent reasons, wildlife crime, poaching. hare coursing, badger bating even most of those nob ends who dress up like ponces to hunt foxes with hounds are chavs from the towns and cites. Fail to see what that's got to.do with unreported Domestic violence in Rural areas .Many crimes go unreported. FFS the other day you stated it WAS NOT a crime if it hadn't been reported when it was pointed out to you.. look at the worst areas of the uk for poverty and crime ridden , Blackpool , middlesborough , Thanet are top of the list. All labour constituencies or council areas. when it comes to poverty and deprivation , and the inevitable crime that goes with it , why is it always labour run areas that are the worst? They can't blame other parties. Labour took charge of Glasgow in the 1930s and reigned supreme for over 80 years. They took Glasgow from the second city of empire , which is what they inherited , to the worst city in the western world. Many of the cities major problems are part of labours legacy , and many of the labour councils in and around the Glasgow area were well known for years for their incompetence , criminal activity , and sheer ineptitude and financial mismanagement. how many years do the brothers and sisters need in charge before they start delivering on their promises to the poor?

We expect nothing less in labour controlled council area's as they are run by the criminal element half of them should be behind bars..
