Well you obviously don't.
The majority of pensioners have paid for the pensions throughout their whole working lives (I'm 53 and I already have) and those horrible "Millionaires" will have paid far more still through their higher rates of tax (like I already have).
Meanwhile, your mate "Abdullah" has contributed the square root of fuck all.
Much like your intellectual contribution to the debate, come to mench.
I think we’ve been down this road before with him but it seems to go in one ear and out the other. Triple lock is applied to state pensions . State pensions are determined by how much NI the pensioner has paid . No one gets a huge state pension afaik . Exactly and if you have been prudent and able to pay into a work or private pension as well you are very likely to be taxed on your pensions as its classed as income , having already been taxed on your earnings when working

Exactly and if you have been prudent and able to pay into a work or private pension as well you are very likely to be taxed on your pensions as its classed as income , having already been taxed on your earnings when working I get by in my state pension and use the small drawdown to pay for things like a new boiler or carpets etc. The only reason I can us because I own a small bungalow and do not have to pay rent . As for ‘ millionaire’s’. One could easily own a three bedroom in London worth £ 600000 and have a pension pot of £400000 just by working hard . This shit about millionaires claiming huge state pensions only exists between the ears of misinformed lefties.

State pension in the opening post is given as £201 per week - a few pounds over £10000 pa for a sole pensioner ( just over £15000 for a couple) Hardly huge especially if compared : Single benefit cap : 2023/24 is set at £1,413.92 a month if you live in Greater London, and £1,229.42 if you live outside Greater London. www.independentage.org/get-advice/money/benefits/benefit-cap#:~:text=If%20you're%20single%20with,anywhere%20else%20in%20the%20UK. no that's if you read it that's pension Credits what's added on top of State pension . So that equals to about £500 A week and there the Dissabibllity payments or pip some receive and Carers Allowance there no limit to what they can Claim
